Lehmann trolling on City
![Heart](/users/3313/22/97/24/smiles/2109348208.gif)
The Blues have dropped down to the Europa League, even though they beat Bayern Munich 2-0 at Eastlands, because Napoli secured the required point to progress against Villarreal.
But former Arsenal and Germany shot-stopper Lehmann believes the competition will benefit from having the Italians in it, rather than Roberto Mancini's men.
“Man City play very, very boring football”Jens Lehmann
"Man City play very, very boring football," he told German satellite station Sky. "They just make their opponents fall asleep with lots of possession. But to be honest, that is not tactically very demanding. The way they play here is the way any amateur team plays, only not on such good grass.
"They just pack men behind the ball, have five against two and just move the ball around. The goal then just comes from a fortunate circumstance."
Lehmann, who played in the Champions League final for Arsenal against Barcelona in 2006, albeit for only 18 minutes before being sent off, was also unimpressed by the atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium.
"There was no life in the stadium," he said. "It was dead. The fans are so quiet. You have got to say, though, that they have not got anything really to get excited about here. They had possession all of the time, albeit in their own half where nothing was happening.
"It is a shame because it is not typical English football. Napoli have heart and passion and I liked them. It is good that they have gone through. We don't want to see Manchester City in the Champions League."

But his position is a CB and he prefers playing CB , reserves is a great place to discover themselves but his position is a CB just like Miquel is a CB

Doesn't mean he can't be an emergency full back, like Miquel and Yennaris have both been in the Carling Cup.

Verminator might play LB though he is a CB,vs. Everton,so is that a false news as well...?
Angha will be there just warming the bench and will play only if there is any injury to the fullbacks.

Didn't Na$ri cite better fans as one of the reasons he moved?Arsenalfaithfull wrote:Jens Lehmann claims the Champions League is better off without Manchester City after they failed to reach the knockout stages.

Why call up a young CB to play fullback if he could call up a young fullback to play fullback?

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Because we have no young full backs, that's why.
In the reserves, Angha has played left back, as had Meade. The former is a centre back, while the latter is a left winger.
Right back has been filled by Yennaris and sometimes Boateng.

Rodwell and Osman (both hamstring) will miss the game against Arsenal, but Saha could return. http://bit.ly/uuveyM
Re: Arsenal Lobby
Eboue shows RVP class as he scores in a fierce Turkish derby match,Galatasaray vs. Fenerbahçe{Sorry I don't know the official derby name}
Would have been an ideal backup as a Fullback and of definite help had he been here still.
Why was he actually sold?
