The fact that he even had meetings with them makes me a little worried....Samuelj29060 wrote:Charles Villeneuve on Canal+: "Wenger had 3 meetings with PSG owners but never believed in their project. He won't abandon his AFC project."

Reminder: I will have the Norwich v Arsenal preview later tonight after team news is out on arsenal.com
Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal reserves coach Neil Banfield is pleased with Sanchez Watt's goal scoring form.
The young striker was again on the mark in victory over Norwich City.
"Sanchez is in a rich vein of form and he is doing well. We don't really like to talk about individuals - the whole team is doing well. The whole team is working hard at the moment and trying to direct their careers towards the first-team squad," Banfield told arsenal.com.
"They want to impress the manager - there were senior staff watching again today. They're all trying extremely hard."

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal striker Sanchez Watt is open to a new loan move away.
Watt spent last season on-loan at Leeds United.
“The next step for me is trying to push myself more into the boss' mind so I can either get on the bench or play in any way I can,” he told arsenal.com. “Even going out on loan, playing every game. I just have to work hard for my chance.
“I'll do whatever is best. Obviously I have already spoken to the boss and he knows what's best for my career. Football is what I love to play and that is what I want to do.”

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen is convinced his partnership with Per Mertesacker will improve.
Mertesacker provides a commanding presence at 6ft 4in, and Vermaelen maintains there should be no issue with whatever selection the manager makes this weekend.
"I only trained for a short time with Per before that [Marseilles] game because I had been injured since he came to Arsenal," he said.
"For me it was a bit strange because I played alongside him for the first time straight away in a Champions League game.
"But we know each other's qualities because I have seen him in games and you know where the other centre-back is going to be.
"I don't think it is a big problem."

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie admits he owes his success to manager Arsene Wenger.
His strike in the Gunners' 3-0 home win over West Brom was his 29th goal in 28 league games this calendar year.
But the Arsenal captain, 28, insists his red-hot form has much to do with Emirates chief Wenger.
Van Persie said: "I'm so thankful I met him. When I was 20 he asked me, 'Why are you not a top player yet?'
"I said 'Because of this, this and this.' He told me to think about the reasons why and a couple of years later asked me again, 'Are you a top player?'
"I again said, 'No, I don't think so.' And he said, 'Why not? Think about it.'
"It was then I started to realise. He gave me a little bit of advice on certain things I was doing.
"He told me to think more about my actions. It was a conversation which lasted a year. Every couple of weeks he would refer to that conversation we had.
"He was giving me proof as well so I could go on and find my answer and I was finding answers all the time. He helped me big time."

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie admits maintaining goal scoring form is hard work.
Van Persie has now scored 108 goals in 246 games for the North Londoners since joining from Feyenoord for £2.75million in May 2004.
However, the converted winger is under no illusions as to how tough it will be to maintain his scoring streak.
He added: "For people on the outside it might look as if I'm going to score because I've been scoring the last couple of weeks. But for me I'm in a different vibe.
"I still have to do it. I have to find the solution to score which is completely different and quite hard. But when you're in the vibe and only need one or two chances to score, that's the best feeling that a footballer can have."
