Re: The Movie House - Part 11
It was really bad. Some of the special effects were awful. Plus, so many cheesy scenes.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Let's be fair, the original was cheesy AF too. It was a good zombie movie if you're into them, but nothing special or original.

Sounds like it’s just as bad as the first one

Understand all the criticisms, but good god was it fun.
Also they really finally let Elizabeth Debicki be tall for an entire movie
Just watched it what a movie
Absolutely the most confusing movie I've watched in recent memory, or ever. Inception is child's play.
Super interesting and masterfully done. Great everything, from performances to direction. Need to watch it again about twice more before really being sure about some stuff.
It was done in a way that even when it was confusing it still managed to retain your interest in every second. Not an easy feat to pull off when a film's concept is this obscure.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Watched Tenet
Wish Nolan would get a decent sound editor. One of his worst qualities. 3rd film in a row. Dunkirk you could maybe get away with since it was a war film but jesus you could not hear half the film because of how uneven the sound was. Wanted to ask someone to put subtitles on 10 minutes in.
I didn't think the film confusing but rather pretentious. It just felt like he was trying way too hard. All the concepts mashed up together in a non stop train of events. Everything was rushed. I think he took the bad editing criticism to heart. Concepts were cool though
Some of the twists were way too obvious.
Maybe this needs to be watched again at home.
Initial feeling is that it's good but not re-watchable unlike his other films.

^^your review seems to have popular shared sentiments
it wouldn't be a Nolan film at this point if the sound design doesn't drown out some of the dialogue

They will definitely have to remaster audio for bluray release.

Nah, the sound was as intended. They won't touch it and I don't think it's any different that the last 5 of his movies. But then again, sound is aways different at home.
All movies should be watched with subtitles to understand anyways. And I doubt it'll be a problem with the current mix given the option of subtitles.
It's incredibly hard to understand any action movie dialogue without subtitles.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
I am sure they remastered TDKR because of Bane?
If it was intended then it's only because Nolan thought the movie is already too convoluted so might as well mask the dialogues and just make the audience 'feel' the film

Really? I didn't notice any difference.
They redid all the Bane sound before release and the trailer was impossible to understand.
It's intended because he wants his films to be visceral experiences and silencing other sounds to make dialogue easier is not something he's done for a while.
Also don't really see how the film is convoluted at all. Seems like it's pretty on par in that regard.
Really hoping they turn the concept into a tv-series at some point.

Just saw a clip from MI7 shooting. Won't post because it's basically spoiler.
If you thought MI6 had insane stunts...wait for this one lol. Jesus, Tom Cruise does not fear death.

Another Dune? Call me sceptical, but I don't see this offering anything new and will just be a pointless cash grab.
