Tf? Dunkirk if anything was one of his better films without the gimmicks. It was a brilliant and subtle retelling of a glorious victory in British history and without all the war film cliches.

Call it what you will but that really was the only way of presenting a piece of history in the form Battle of Dunkirk anyway, if one wanted an overarching theme.

It was refreshing seeing it rather than another Saving Private Ryan attempt.

Tenet should be good just hope it doesn't suffer from over-familiarity.

Dunkirk was ok, ruined mostly by Zimmer's Batman score. I mean whose great idea was that?

Nolans best are

1. Interstellar
2. Batman Begins
3. Prestige, The

Never liked these experimental concepts of his, Memento or Inception, and Tenet will probably fall this category.

Some slander on The Social Network here imo

Either his best or second best film for me. That thing is an absolute masterpiece. Comes up just short as my favorite film of the last decade

There has been multiple times where I've began watching it just to see that 5 minute intro conversation (amazing beginning to a film), and can't pull myself away for the whole film.

Loved Tenet. It’s so fucking bonkers. Incredible spectacle.

Understand all the criticisms, but good god was it fun.

Also they really finally let Elizabeth Debicki be tall for an entire movie
