Hope this sexy beast will do well. We are long overdue some luck in appointing managers. Expectation is at all time low tho. So it could augur well for him I guess initially. Also the 2.5+1 contract is also clever from Ineos.

I'm checking his career stats and this guy somehow ended up in the 2014 WC squad despite barely playing at club level for years

Seems pretty highly rated with some top clubs interested in him b4, but not the top tier first choice... anyway, Man U are due some luck n the squad has improved so about time things should improve... but I hope not >

Was quietly impressed with Amorim. Exactly echoes what we fans think with his comments. He called out Bruno, Garnacho and other crap performers and was visibly furious after the result. Heaven and earth toTen Hag who weirdly was 'ignoring' 3-0 thumpings at home and was praising smash and grab wins. Now hoping Amorim will impress me more by deselecting underperformers from the next match.
