No, what I said was Flamini is not your traditional DM who'll stay back, defend, pass, dictate. In my eyes he's a runner, your typical box-to-box midfielder, who'll defend when the opposition attacks but attack when we are in possession... atleast this is what he did at Arsenal - I've not seen enough of him in Milan I must admit.

And I don't believe that's what we needed. If we signed a traditional DM, we could let Wilshere and Ramsey play their own game without having *TOO* much responsibility defending.

But as with any Arsenal player, I will welcome him and wish him luck.

I was just expecting better and a different kind of player, that's it.

They say Liverpool will rebuff any Madrid attempt at signing Suarez. Any Suarez sale probably depends on if Liverpool can find a suitable replacement, which is doubtful this late in the window.

But you'd imagine that if Madrid are seriously going after Suarez, they may be open to letting Benzema leave.

On another note, I wouldn't mind Podolski leaving if it meant Di Maria coming in.
