I wish Xabi will have as much success as possible as a manager, but being able to sign all of your prioritized transfer targets is incredibly rare for a top club, let alone a club like Leverkusen. He may not be as lucky at his next club Bundesliga 2023/24 - Page 4 1f605

All the heavy weights were in the same bracket and the weaker team in the other bracket

Dortmund have been the example of a team sucking hard in a league but succeeding beautifully in Europe.

In Europe I actually rate them the best team performance wise throughout the competition.

It’s football, the minnows get their way in a game & battle of constants & variables otherwise things would be all too predictable.

Lest you forget I would support Arsenal during Wenger tenure hard when LFC didn’t have a chance and Arteta leading them to the title doesn’t actually hurt so as long as it’s not City.

No, Arsenal just aren't a team I mind if at all despite some antics of a team thirsty for trophies like a man in a dry spell for women.

Doesn't mean I won't engage in banter and root for the team I actually root for and openly at that.

El G almost got humbled last night already, he plays a dangerous game. I'm also in the Arsenal camp, I just don't like City as a whole (I did like them more when they played with Antoine Sibierski and Stephen Ireland than now) and I don't like Guardiola either, though I respect the football Barca played in those years.

There's something about him that strikes me as dishonest, maybe I am wrong and he's a great guy but that's just how I feel.

Might be exaggerating a bit but seeing both Dortmund n Real now playing vs some mid-low level team in the league away with B teams, Dortmund losing 0-3 while Real winning 1-0... I find a bit hard to accept or support or praise a team that focuses solely on the CL n just doesnt try in the league, like Dortmund definitely is atm, its not like they still dont have a chance to make big 4, pretty lazy n pathetic... something Real used to do but partly theyve changed n partly due to little comp in the league Very Happy

Wouldnt read to much into it, Mainz is fighting relegation and this win was live or die for them whereas for BVB it doesnt matter whether they finish 4 or 5.
