yeah.. Flamini is going to be a first team option to rotate with Arteta and as one among the double pivot..

I don't think he's awesome or anything either but he scores, he's a poacher and we create enough so he'll convert chances.

It's a World Cup year and he barely plays at united, so I would only assume he would want more game time, especially considering how much Mexico depends on him

He's happy to stay on the bench, Mexico have no one better than him - he'll automatically start whether he plays or not.

Besides with Welbeck starting on the left, he's their only option on the bench. Yanited won't go a whole season without a striker on the bench unlike us

I wonder whether the UCL group will force wenger to get some good players even by paying more. We got West Brom in Carling Cup and a very difficult UCL group. With the current squad (due to quantity and quality) we can be out of 3 competitions by December.

I highly doubt we'd be ready to spend £40mil on Draxler. Good young player but £40mil good? Absolutely not.

I personally believe it's Oezil.

Oezil is an incredible player. I am sure Wenger is "interested" because what manager wouldn't be? But going after him would mean stacking the attacking midfield even more ...

40m for Draxler is a ton of money and AW has already shown unwillingness to go over a certain valuation of his targets.

But. Tactical or financial considerations aside (and yeah those are very important) getting either Oezil or Draxler at the end of the window would be an impressive move from a "marquee transfer" perspective.

Therefore I won't hold my breath waiting ...
