Doesn't matter how much United bid for him. We have a fixed buy back clause of £25m.

Barcelona won't sell and Cesc won't leave, so I wouldn't worry all that much.

Knowing that how our transfers go, we know that we wont take initiative.. hope Manure can unsettle Cesc and Barca management, making them feel he is indispensable and making Cesc feel that he is suffering.. and finally end up selling him back to the only possible destination, that is us.. Blessing in disguise.. make it happen Manure and RIP..

In this instance it doesn't matter if we take the initiative or not. The only way for the buy-back to work is for Barcelona to decide they want to sell.

The list of strikers available is getting small by the day. A Suarez-Higuain swap will be bad for us as it will mean two of our targets are gone (although liverpool not playing in the CL may mean higuain may not want to go there).
That will leave rooney as the best option and if AW is crazy a bid for IBRA ( assuming he is unsettled by the impending arrival of Cavani).

If we dont get a top-class forward we an go for the likes of Michu or Benteke and get a very good Creative midfielder. Last season creating chances was a big problem for us like the match away at Norwich where our first shot on target came on the 87th minute.
