Re: La Liga 2023/24
Olmo is more expensive than Nico, must be fake news or at least I hope it is a smokescreen
Simons will go out on loan and he apparently has a lot of say in the decision as to where he goes and he may prefer Barca as Fabrizio reports

Amazing season from Madrid honestly. On course to finish with 99 points

Re: La Liga 2023/24
Wish we could've broken the 100 points barrier that we used to see during peak Mou/Pep era. Next season hopefully!
Such a shame we lost to Atleti away. That was the last time Carlo ever played Kroos and Modric together so something good obviously came out of it but still...

I just noticed Girona tied yesterday. That means a Barca 2nd is within their control.

| BREAKING: Deco has decided that Vitor Roque will NOT continue with FC Barcelona next season — he will ask his agents for either a loan or a permanent transfer.

Xavi believes that Roque isn't reliable & the sports management agrees with him. @La_SER pic.twitter.com/ZChteVaSFE
This is messed up

I don't get it he barely played still has 2 goals and has played quite abit out of position yet they believe he isn't reliable? Unless something happen in the back this is messed up. Brazilian talents will ignore are phone calls now.

Something behind the scenes is going on, right? Can't be based on his abilities, that wouldn't make sense

Ffs... so we will only have Lewand up front then? Then fking Ferran again? XD
We need to catch a break eventually... while Real signing the best talents every season, we are still stuck in limbo...

Re: La Liga 2023/24
This is shocking on so many levels and may have implications for the future. Xavi should deserve a sack for this alone. If something happened bts they should explain, because otherwise it doesnt make sense why would they rush his arrival from Brazil only to kick him out merely months later.
Wow. This would never happen if he were a Spanish national. Idiot board and manager. They are probably butthurt due to his agent's comments. I do not recognize my club
He doesnt get a start again today. He barely even had a chance to play lmao

Re: La Liga 2023/24
Vitor is probably caught in club politics. Deco probably brought him without Xavi's permission and now he refuses to incorporate him and Laporta has to side with Xavi if next season isn't going to be a disasterMyesyats wrote:This is shocking on so many levels and may have implications for the future. Going to be an exciting game. Both teams need to win. Barca to make top 2 and LaReal to leapfrog Bilbao into EL spot

That's a really vague report. In what way is he not reliable? In terms of his ability? his positional flexibility? His discipline? Sounds like it's either BS or based on insubstantial information.

Your club was always classless with players. Remember the slanderous message about the departing Fabregas or the "leaks" of players' contract details after they refused lowering their salaries

Boring start to the match, but we played well as it progressed, enjoying it
We need another Gundogan level signing If thats possible, to avoid humiliation next season vs Real...

Boring finish n cant expect too much, but these scrubs subs on at 1-0 hoping to hold out a game... n relying on opponents to be shit up front like last season Wont always work, but Im guessing will be the norm for some time to come...

Re: La Liga 2023/24
What a difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona on how to handle South American prospects!
In the case of Vinicius, Rodrygo and likely Endick, Real Madrid bring the prospect to Spain after their season in SA finishes and they have turned 18. They know it takes time for the kid to not only adapt to European top level futbol, but also adapt to European / Spanish culture and language. In their first year, they don’t get any starts and coming on as a sub is very gradual. All this to not only allow them to adjust, be comfortable, begin their development and limit the pressure on them. In the second year, they are then given much more opportunities to develop and again adjust to the pressure. It isn’t until the third year that the expectations are high! With prospects that are not in top tier like Reiner, they are placed in Castilla and / or loaned out to develop. If they develop enough, they are then given a chance at first team, usually in a reserve spot, at least initally. If after a number of loans they haven’t developed, then they are sold off, usually for a profit.
In contrast, at least with Victor Rogue, they bring him to Europe mid season, allowing no chance of adjusting, and place huge expectations and pressure on the kid to immediately produce with very few starts. Then they are disappointed and can’t wait to get rid of him!
They seem to expect instant success as with home grown talent, that have had the gradual increased pressure in organization or similar European organization!

Eventful first half for us against Alaves. Unlike, the one between Man City and Tottenham, which was like watching paint dry.

Its usually 50-50. Media overblows a lot of stuff, but there has been something off about the Roque situation for months. THey cant just rush him from brazil and then not play him and now want to sell/loan. Doesnt make a lot of sense. If you didnt need him then he couold have stayed in brazil. I doubt its anything performance related because he was quite good whenever he featured. Anyway Deco says they are yet to decide, but clearly the vibe is off
