United apparently made a bid for Fabregas. According to BBC and Sky. £25m

This means that if Barcelona accepts it, then our buyout clause becomes activated and we have the 1st refusal on him as well as the chance to buy him for £25m.

It didn't make much sense to me anyway. Liverpool said there not selling so to me the only way they would sell him is if a really enticing offer came along. I doubt they would look to sell/trade Suarez themselves.

Well if Barce accepts then that means we basically have Fabregas right? I mean Wenger wouldnt turn down Fab for 25m and let him go to United would he?

We'd still have to agree all of the contractual fees, personal terms, agent fees, etc. for Cesc, and Cesc himself can turn the move down. Not as straightforward as it seems.

Fee's, personal terms, that stuff won't get in the way i reckon. The only thing that would is Fabregas not wanting to leave.

Either way this is still wishful thinking from all of us.

man why would cesc want to come back to arsenal? makes no sense atm. it just seems like such a damper on his confidence. failing at barca and coming back to arsenal because you wasnt good enough. it doesn't have a good feel to it. i dont want cesc to leave barca untill he's had at least 2 more seasons there.

Not worried one bit about the Utd bid for Fabregas.

Its going to take at least a 50m bid from anyone bar Arsenal for Barca to consider selling Fabregas considering we get half of the fee.

Liking how we're slowly progressing the Suarez deal though.
