Appreciate all Isco did but sometimes he was so incredibly frustrating. Does all these fancy flicks and tricks and doesnt shoot or pass the ball.

Anyway, thanks for your contribution

Perucho, one of the main reasons for this is his lack of pace and agility.. and quite frankly that comes from his unbelievably shit work ethic. His ball control and dribbling are world class, but often he can’t find angles because from a physical standpoint he is just so poor.

Unbelievably talented footballer but just didn’t put the work in. However I think a move will motivate him. I’m being optimistic here but you never know

Whenever I saw Betis, this guy was balling. And looking better than ever if I may say.

I thought he was absolutely done, he was even without a club for half a season? Then this miraculous turnaround, what happened here.

Isco is generally a very laid back persona. He never was done just wasnt competitive enough to stay relevant in Madrid, a highly competitive environment. In betis he is back in his home province and shifting environments rediscovers one in their self and this is the case here. Also helps the team is built around his strengths.

He probably decided to put effort in for the first time in years. His ability has never been in question.

He was a great player when he joined Real. Like many others, Real were too overloaded with stars. Not watch him at Betis, but last nights two goals were pretty much Barcas bad defending though Razz

He’s always has stood out when he is a key player. There are a lot of well known reasons why he fell to a bench player at Madrid. At Sevilla, his problems were with Monchi after Lopetequi was let go. (He was the reason he went there).

At Betis, he is a key players and he is enjoying futbol again, as he has said. I’ve always thought highly of Pelli, even feel he was dismissed too soon. I credit him for Betis success in past few years and for with getting back the old Isco.

Wonder if he gets into the Spain squad for the Euros.

DDG should learn. Isco took a huge paycut to go to Betis. He's now shining for them and has benched Fekir.

DDG risks being completely forgotten about while he does a Ronaldo waiting for top clubs to come and get him that never come
