Have you ever seen him play? then don't laugh then.
Because he doesn't play in europe doesn't make him a scrub.
Ignorance wouldn't surprise me at all if Wilshere fails to deliver like every single time he has played for England.

Re: Brazil vs England
Stop trolling mate.
To be honest, I don't even know what Paulinho looks like, maybe because I only watch 2-3 EPL games every week, and not like GL's full time scouts who somehow find the time to watch 15 games in a weekend
Anyways, he is not as good as Wilshere, because I think Wilshere will get into 95% of team's XI , whereas Paulinho is playing for a mediocre team close to the Amazon jungles #inbeforeworldchampions

How do you know he's not as good as Wilshere if you don't even though what it looks like? lol.
Wait and see i have not seen him often but when i have he usually bosses the game.
Not like he's alone anyway he's surrounded by legitimate talent, where as lets be real Gerrard aside England is mediocre.

Re: Brazil vs England
It would be quite historic to see an English midfield outplay a Brazilian midfield, i don't think i've ever witnessed something like that

Re: Brazil vs England
I'll be surprised if Carrick is playing as he never plays for England
And i was including Wilshere alongside Gerrard the rest is meh, as far as the midfield goes.
Why do you think we never win anything? we are meh, its time to accept it.

Maybe the reason why we don't win anything is the tactics?

What other tactic can England implement but long ball to the wings and cross ? You imagine them playing intricate passes at a quick tempo?

Re: Brazil vs England
This is the team apparently....
Hart, Johnson, Jagielka, Cahill, Cole, Cleverley, Wilshere, Gerrard, Walcott, Welbeck, Rooney.
Cole is past it, Jagielka and Cahill are the epitome of average, Walcott needs to space to work and he won't get it at international level, Welbeck and Cleverly? LOL.
Hart is extremely mistake prone and Johnson while very good going forward lacks any sort of positional skills or defensive awareness(ib4 enraged Pool fans)
So really only Wilshere, Gerrard and Rooney can be trusted and Wilshere hasn't exactly lit the International stage as of yet.
We might very well win as any one can win a friendly, but if you expect anything more than average going forward till 2014 with this team you're quite naive.

That's actually one of England's better lineups in recent memory.

Re: Brazil vs England
Cahill's a pretty solid defender, Cole isn't past it, Walcott should be trying to get into goalscoring positions, not trying to dribble like a generic winger and crossing it in.

Depends on how Sturridge, Wilshere, Zaha, McEachran, Cleverley etc develop over the next 12-14 months.

4-3-1-2 won't allow the good lads to run down the wing and whip the ball into the box.

Re: Brazil vs England
Zaha, McEachran and Cleverly
Always amuses me how long it takes people to accept players are never going to come good.
Ince is miles better than that overrated scrub Zaha anyway, but that isn't enough regardless.
This happens every time there's a new generation and every single time we are disappointed because over-hype and overrate our players.
You would think people would learn
Even Wilshere as ridiculously talented as he is is getting over-hyped to all hell atm.

Did I say they were guaranteed superstars you clown? They're the standout players of the next generation, how they turn out over the next year or so will determine how much noise we can make in Brazil.
