In the first goal all I saw was that Walcott outran him.. when i hear rape I think of actually dribbling, let alone skill because he even messed up the shot, he got lucky Rooney got the rebound and scored otherwise that wouldn't even be a highlight, I didn't watch this game but from the comments you guys are over hyping the shit out of him and making it seem like he actually did something worth posting

Oscar might already be Brazil's best player. The disparity in intelligence between him and his teammates was pretty amazing to watch.

Chelsea don't deserve him.

Adriano was raped by Walcott. Only someone biased enough would believe otherwise tbh. Just admit it Franschise.

Mate, lets drop it.

Neither will ever change their opinion on this.

Your opinion is worth less than toilet paper.

If Adriano got rapped I would have no problem saying it. Just like I did when Dani Alves got rapped by Willian, or Maxwell got raped by Walcott or when Tello couldnt find a route out of Arbeloa's pocket.

I aint caught up in such childish things too often, its football, any player can get owned any time.

Just dont agree it happened here, I dont constitute rape as getting beat like 2 times and losing the ball 4 or 5.

How many times does a winger need to go past the fullback in order for the winger to win the overall battle?

I mean it's not like the wingers constantly going to past him everytime he's got the ball.

I think Coentrao's defensive ability was questioned, when Lahm went past him once in the CL semi last season?

There is no set number, thats not how football works.

Anyway, I already said Walcott won the battle. It was probably the most interesting tussle of the game.

for people to judge, the number of the battles won isnt the main factor apparently but the outcome..
you can beat a fullback as much as you want through pace and dribbles but in the end if it leads to a bad cross or generally a failed attack the defender's done job will be praised for either pressing or just being there,
so for me the defender has the upper hand for someone's definite conclusion.

coentrao's incident is a different story, he completely lost the battle in that moment hence people questioning his abilities, even if gomez didnt score that one the way coentrao defended makes it difficult for you to not judge him by that
