Casemiroooooo*
Imagine if Ten Fraud had his way and gotten mental midget DeJong instead of the tank Casemiro. You would be losing 5-0 against everyone and languish midtable instead of getting closer to the top 2

We need to get a top top team to get back to our best, not sure if there is really any world beaters out there. But would like to face one, that is the only way Klopps team will perform better in this season.

How stupid is that Fulham player who fouled KDB who was running away from the penalty area

First time you were lucky, you played almost with 12 players with Liverpool's goalkeeper on your side. Second time you just somehow managed with we hitting post and ball somehow not going on. Over 2 legs, we will definitely kick you out this time.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Which top teams other than Man City have you beaten so far, anyway? You lost to Man United, and I think it's debatable whether or not they're a top team these days. The Chelsea match was postponed. You lost to Arsenal. You play against Tottenham today. There's your top team, I suppose.
But really, I don't think Liverpool's slump has anything to do with Klopp, and I've never understood why results always have to boil down to the manager's doing. He gets a lot of flak for your lack of transfer activity, but I'm willing to bet that he would've brought in a lot more players if he actually had the final say in transfers, which he doesn't. Liverpool will likely start performing closer to their expected standards again, once the players find the form to do so.

yet again another soft call goes Man City's way... hate it.. if it's not a multi-billion squad, it's Haaland, if it's not Haaland, it's the Abu Dhabi-funded Premier League refs

In the year 2030 Liverpool will still be talking about revenge you couldn't even beat us last year when we were at our worst, we are miles better this season and you, well you have no Mane anymore who is the only one who turns up against us. Out of all the R16 teams we can meet, you are probably one of the easiest. Sit down!Helmer wrote:Thimmy wrote:Yes, you have a great record against the likes of Real Madrid

I don't think it was a soft call. In fact I think the offside against them was softer. Anyways, you should be angry at that dimwit of a defender rather than the referee who applied the rules correctlyEl Gunner wrote:yet again another soft call goes Man City's way... hate it.. if it's not a multi-billion squad, it's Haaland, if it's not Haaland, it's the Abu Dhabi-funded Premier League refs

You should copy+paste that in the La Liga thread after madrid games too.

I really don't understand the officiating and the use of VAR, in general. It's incredibly inconsistent. I think it was Grealish who got away with being a mile offside earlier in the season, but when the refs actually feel like using VAR for offside decisions, there's laser accuracy in their decision-making. Handballs are sometimes called, other times they're not. Rugby plays are sometimes called, other times they're not. I don't understand why we have VAR, if it's only going to be used every now and then. Why is it the on field ref's call whether or not it's used? With the amount of resources they've poured into it, it should be used at all times.
Why isn't this used when there's so little doubt that even TV viewers on both sides are not arguing against it?

dude was merely touched in the softest way (remember it's still a contact sport) and then he went down like a fish in a pan... pathetic decision

WHEW
Villa 2-0 up after 10 mins
knew Varane would be a disaster moment for us after he got injured
also the schedule doesnt help at all...just too many games every week.

Seems like the same story with many fan bases, whinning all over. Welcome to world cup year mate, I think it will get worse very soon for many "not properly planned squads".

That is how it feels like man, last season the decision in the Everton game which went for Man City, will never forget that. Harmonica would have definitely labeled it as "league title bought by oil money". It is just that Man City will create so many of those situations during a game, they eventually get lucky in one of those calls.
But that said, Arsenal are truly putting those title contender performances. Can openly admit that I had thought Arsenal would draw against Chelsea or/and against Spurs. But it seems like Arsenal will go on till the end if they remain injury free to key players.
