2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
So, with the new season around the corner, who's the favourites for the title? With the transfer dealing with United and Chelsea have made great purchases are they in no excuse territory this season? If City don't get Kane I personally don't think they'd be favourites ahead of Chelsea mainly and to an extent even United should have a good run. Whats everyone thoughts? With the way things are going to everyone else this seems like the more interesting league this season and the CL.
Oh and City just lost the community shield to Leicester

no idea, don't really care because Arsenal are in the dumps, will see how the season plays out. Did United get a striker though? They ain't winning shit if they still relying on Rashford and Martial

They got Sancho too, but also can get goals from Cavani and Bruno, I don't think goalscoring should be a big issue for them. Apparently they still may make 1 or 2 signings. City may still yet land Kane and Chelsea still have Kounde.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
City, Liverpool and Chelsea now they're signing Lukaku are my picks for the title race. Maybe United but I don't rate their depth as much and frankly Pep, Klopp and Tuchel >>> OGS.
Hard to see anyone else getting top four. I expect Leicester, Spurs and Arsenal to compete for EL/Conference League. Villa have strengthened quite well despite losing Grealish so they could surprise people.
Watford and Norwich will go straight back down, but Brentford could do well.

You've got Jota, Gomez and Van Dijk back, signed a good CB in Konate, and still have most of your key players. Don't really see a reason why you wouldn't be up there competing again.

Konate is not just a good Cb, but a fucking monster of a CB.

Looking at teams make 100m signings does fluster the confidence a bit but yes if the same squad when fit can hit the same strides, we should be able to compete for the title. I don't think these bunch of players have more than 1-1.5 years remaining on the Klopp and FSG model, the core is now around 30 years old.

Yep. Don't see another team winning this.
Liverpool don't have the irresistible mental strength anymore, they could only muster it up for a couple of seasons, as it goes.
But it will be an interesting top 4 fight

Or this could very well be a twisted plan, carefully tailored by Hans, to diverge any form of jinx or pressure away from his countryman Tuchel, thereby allowing him to have a silent, GL-stress-free battle against the Bald Fraud.

Leno; Chambers, White, Mari, Tierney; Lokonga, Xhaka; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Martinelli; Balogun
Subs: Hein, Holding, Cedric, Bellerin, Maitland-Niles, Tavares, Elneny, Nelson, Saka
this looks like the squad for a team I randomly click during a europa league qualifier who then lose to the likes of Rangers tbh
need Toney to come clutch ffs
