His season with Vitesse has been fantastic. I think he's incredibly exciting to watch when he plays well, and his set piece delivery is literally the best I've seen in recent years. He's improved massively, but he's still a bit rough around the edges, and he's only 20. I've read that he will be loaned out for another season. I want to see a little bit more conviction to his end product. He stands out with his intelligent decision-making, but he seems to hesitate with his final pass or shot sometimes. Another season on loan would do him good, I think. Preferably in a much better team than Vitesse.

As for Asensio, he's clearly staying beyond the summer. I'm not expecting much from him at this point, but it won't hurt to give him competition. If competition doesn't give him a kick in the ass and a smack in the face, then he can spend the season on the bench until we're able to offload him.

Just saw the highlight reel RM posted on their youtube page (my first time watching Jovic video) and I have to say that the kid is incredible. Amazing that we got him for ONLY 60M in this crazy market. Goal machine. I hope we don't dump him on the bench

Wonder how we'll line up with him Benz, Hazard and Vini. Someone has to play on the right or we wont have a wing prescence there

Been saying this for a month now. Vinícius will be on bench, his left spot will be occupied by Hazard and Jovic will be on right. It’s either that or play a 4 men mid, including Hazard, with Jovic as a SS.

There will be times when they play someone else on right. I suspect they will try to see how Vinícius or Rodrygo play on right, plus that is the natural position of Asensio.

Besides being a great goalscorer, he seems like a very well-rounded player. Really happy with the transfer, even more so if the rumored price is true.

Starting to like him more, wish he had more pace but has functional pace at the very least. There should be more outside of the box long shots in these videos, does he not go for them often?

Very excited about this signing. He plays like Benzema but with a score-first mentality. I think they complement each other very well.

In fact, the trio of Hazard - Benz - Jovic would be technically exceptional up front.

Yeah, as much as I can see a 4-3-3 with only one of Jovic/Benzema. I could also see a Zidiamond with Hazard playing just beneath the two. It's at least good to have a plan B.

Other than France, Brazil and Netherlands were the NTs I grew up loving.

Trying to figure out where did Turok see a "slow" Jovic from. That extended highlight reel honestly shows him having some good top speed on him (as if that really matters).

Yeah, I think everyone who grew up watching the attractive football that Ajax and the Netherlands played is really relieved that we didn't completely fall off a cliff. Hoping it was just a blip in recruitment/development between the RVP, Robben, VdV, Sneijder years and now. Obviously it was a more complicated problem than that, but things look to be returning to normal somewhat. Really looking forward to the match tomorrow.

Center forward [specifically] has been an issue for many years, and is an issue for many squads at the international level apart from the very elite, so I'm not too bothered tbh. If we can be solid at the back and feed Depay it will be fine. It's about our level currently.

Even when we had RVP he always felt like an inside forward playing as CF. For now I am relatively happy with our forwards. I would like to see more of young Kluivert, and I've heard really good things about Daishawn Redan who plays for Chelsea's u-23s. Now that he's of age he needs to move to a senior team, but looks like he could be decent, a bit early to tell.

Good signing he seems like a good kid flo seems to like him as well, jovic chose the club instantly and he like the team genuinely reminds me of sahin, hope he has a good season and start I'm comfortable with him replacing benzema in the future, no agenda and baggage those are the signing the club needs, no more entitled Spanish scrubs and wanna be superstars please.
