Just watched Terminator. Amazing still, but the effects bothered me so much. That department has improved to much.

Sicario is my top 2 favorite of the year so far. That and Spotlight are top two.

Spoiler:

Watched A Perfect Day with Del Toro. Meh. 5/10. Good performance by Del Toro but just a bore of a film.

Also saw Trainwreck. Shit. LeBron was the best part of that film. Laughing 4/10.

Just watched a dvdrip screener copy of Creed (couldn't resist waiting till the 16th Jan cinema release).

Movie is beyond amazing. Best movie of the year, imo.

Trainwreck is oh so annoying just like Amy Schumer. Can't believe the hype she's getting. Watch Mistress America instead, Greta Gerwig is dat comedy girl!

Agree with McAgger on another thing as well. Spotlight is absolutely flawless and seamless. Spectacular filmmaking. Everything is on point. One of the strongest films of the year indeed. Besides dealing with a sensitive subject that demands to be heard, the intensity progresses with an added dose of suspense step by step all the way through. It doesn't waste time, it just tells as objectively and nerve-wrecking as possible. The cherry on the top is the phenomenal acting and the emotional rollercoaster these characters have to deal with as they manage and manoeuvre this case in the right direction the best way possible to get the ultimate desired outcome and consquences.

Also showcases what true journalism is about.

4.5/5

A must watch.

Re-watched Lion King once again. It holds up every viewing. Still GOAT animated movie for me, nothing beats it. It's got everything.

It's odd. I was never much into Disney as a kid despite watching a bunch of their movies. I just never held them in high regard. My favorite disney movie is oliver and company Laughing

I miss Disney's great musicals tbh. They're really missing. Frozen didn't hit the level of Mermaid, Mulan, Aladdin, Lion King, B&B etc.

Disney released a new sequel called the Lion Guard (Simba's 2nd child and his son, Kion, is the main character) just recently, which made me re-watch the original. Agreed completely on just how much of a classic it is. The Frozen of my generation, for sure.

Scar remains a top 5 villain for me. Jeremy Irons just has such an awesome voice.
