Saoirse Ronan's performance was magnificent.
Does anyone know how the hell you pronounce her name.

I would class horror as its own genre. The goal is to shock, disgust and scare the audience with gore, blood, zombies, monsters, demons etc. The goal for a thriller on the other hand is suspense.
Suspense is a part of horror. Psychological thrillers are very much horror films in a sense. A lot of people call Psycho a horror film, despite even Hitchcock calling it a thriller and suspense movie.
Thriller has a lot of sub genre's like crime, horror, comedy, spy, political, psychological etc, which is why the definitions can be subjective and fuzzy. I haven't watched Psycho, but if it's a combination of the two, then I would say it's a horror thriller just like TWD is. But yeh, for horror the aim is scare the audience, while for a thriller it's to deliver suspense. Two different feelings imo.

Then I must urge you to watch Psycho because it is Sacry as well as has GOAT suspence. Eager to see in which category u put in it

Re: The Movie House - Part 6
Yeh I'll be checking out Hitchcock's work. He's labelled as the 'master of suspense', which is enough to entice me. I just checked out 'Psycho' on IMDB and the remastered version has a low rating, is that an accurate assessment or is it as good as the original? In terms of labels, I don't think it has to be one or the other. Simply calling it a 'horror-thriller' is fine, just like Breaking Bad/Prison Break are both crime-thrillers.

Spotlight is indeed brilliant. Struggling to find a simple flaw in the film. Mark Ruffalo was terrific.

Certainly my top 3 with Mad Max and The Revenant. Would be fine with any of these three winning.

Yes, just seen it, its official
Also, this tweet https://twitter.com/idriselba/status/704679302781083648 (nod at the book since Roland follows The Man in Black(Mcconahay) for the majority of the time)
Been reading around, is it feasible/possible to make a quality movie in under just 7 months? I have little to no idea about the inner workings of movie making but it kinda feels like it might be a but rushed imo
