I think distributers in the UK are trying to avoid releasing anything anywhere near Star Wars. Cinema isn't exactly doing great over here.

Which is why they should release it same time as everyone else and release it again if it gets oscar nominations. Star Wars will run wild until Deadpool while there's nothing out at the moment. Movies make like 80% of their money in the first 2-3 weeks anyway. 90% of their money is made the first 4 weeks.

Speaking of Bryan Singer. The guy who accused him was just found guilty of multiple accounts of fraud and will serve a two year sentence.

Really? I couldn't give a shit looking at that "trailer". This is basically a teaser for people familiar with the property.

It doesn't show anything at all.

Also a lot of films have trailers like this. Batman v. Superman had it, Suicide Squad has it, Star Wars has it. Just wait till the third trailer. The whine will start flowing in like crazy.

Perfect trailer for me was the first BvS trailer (not teaser) and Star Wars trailer that came out 2 months ago.

revenant will drop this month as a screener so I'm just gonna watch that, not waiting around a month for it to release here

and is assassins creed gonna be a straight adaption from the first game? hard to get hyped for it if so

Original story and characters. He plays Callum Lynch and it takes place in Spain.

So... despite all the trouble surrounding this movie, I actually think it looks awesome, considering the CGI is not done yet.

Report going around that Idris Elba will play The Gunslinger while Matthew McConaughey will play The Man In Black.

I'd watch anything with that cast.

Roland is supposed to be really old, rugged, worn out, tensed face. This isn't me nitpicking, but its relevant to the story (you'll know why in the books).

If they can't even cast Roland half way decent think how bad they could *bleep* up the rest...

Matthew and Idris are fine actors, but I don't see either in those roles. It could be that I'm so deep into the series that I will never be happy but whatever, just cast someone properly.

I'm sorry i can't get behind this casting choice
