One Mistake, One Try! Aussies are playing well enough. We missed frans Steyn big time! Still there is hope, and when there is no hope there is sooooo much beer that hope won't matter...

It was a huge win. A lot of people were doubting it could be done.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! Yes yes yes yes yes! We *bleep* those fecking South Africans.
Gracious, I hate South Africa when it comes to rugby. All of South Africa, I mean! They're so biased. This whole week they were saying our they're gonna beat us and they're gonna meet New Zealand in the semi final and how it's gonna be a great showdown.
But we showed em, We shut em right up.
Yes, they had most of the possession.
Yes, they had most of the territory.
But we showed them that we can beat them, AGAIN!
We showed them we can defend for 80 min. I mean we didn't concede a try and we were disciplined.
We got all our points because we put them under pressure and we WERE DESERVED winners because we defended great!
Australia All The Way! Yes, thank you boys! We're winning this whole damn thing!
Up the Wallabies!!!

I can't say this enough, I know I'm Namibian and South Africa his our neighbours and I should be supporting them.
But the hate (WHEN IT COMES TO RUGBY) that I have for them is juz so,so big.
That's why I started supporting Australia since 2004!

Re: The Rugby World Cup 2011 Thread
Tbh the rugby Sth Africa play is the 'anti-football' kind of crap you refer to. We defended well today and its our defensive effort that won the game, but the game isn't like that because we employ defensive tactics. Australia and NZ are 2 teams that actually throw the ball and try to run it. They actually try to score tries. Our attack was rubbish today because Sth Africa's defence was amazing and they turned the ball over so quickly and dominated possession.
However, when Sth Africa have the ball, they are horrible to watch, the same as most European teams and specifically the England team that beat us in 2003. They pass the ball once for a forward and just keep going until they get a penalty. They play rugby doing their 3 times tables. Sure, you can say thats part of the game, but its boring as f***. Australia deserve to go through so they can actually put on a show against the Kiwis, because the Sprinboks would have done exactly the same thing to them as well.

I don't believe SA played Anti Rugby but SA was good as well and SA was better than ENG imo in terms of playing running rugby but they lacked creativity.Though the ref was a little loose at times on hands in the ruck Pocock was immense Cooper was crap probably on of his worst matches.

So much hypocrisy...
We are anti rugby? Wtf is that?? another made up term to satisfy your Aussie arrogance and ego? We dominated you in all aspects of the game, you were forced into playing defensively and scrapped victory when in fact you weren't the best side on the field. Quade literally soiled himself during this entire game as he couldn't deal with the amount of pressure that we were applying, and proved yet again that he is a big game flop.
However a win is a win and we can live with that, recently you have had the edge over us so overall that Aussie players deserves to be in the semi-final after the great season they'd had so far.
Also i don't understand why you cross reference our Rugby style with Football as that seems completely irrelevant , and seems like you want to take a sh*t on us for knowing how to win knock-out rugby games.
Every nation has its own strengths and weaknesses that need to be respected and celebrated, we combine power, defense and kicking as the bases to our playing style, because its effective and gets us the results we need.
