Its usually 50-50. Media overblows a lot of stuff, but there has been something off about the Roque situation for months. THey cant just rush him from brazil and then not play him and now want to sell/loan. Doesnt make a lot of sense. If you didnt need him then he couold have stayed in brazil. I doubt its anything performance related because he was quite good whenever he featured. Anyway Deco says they are yet to decide, but clearly the vibe is off

For someone who has proclaimed you are now neutral, you are away too sensitive, if you don’t like the sounds of a story then it has to be the media making it up!

Yup, both are very young
We are handling Arda much better than how Barca are handling Yamal. Arda is still only getting a few starts here and there now at the end of the session sprinkled with some sub appearances at the end of games. Whereas Yamal has over 2000 mins in LaLiga. Will probably turn into Pedri after the Euros and Olympics

There is no way QSG sanction a loan deal to Barca. Permanent transfer maybe but never loan

according to reports loan was always the only option, we cant afford a permanent transfer anyway (especially if we spend 50m on nico)

I read laporta is pissed and didnt even travel to Almeria because privately Xavi said he trusts the current squad but then in the presser he said that we need reinforcements to compete and that they should be realistic lmao

Oh yes it is. There are very few Basques that leave Athletic. They and Basques in general have a huge hold on their players. Remember both Javi Martinez and Llorente trying to leave for bigger clubs. Herrera was another one. It took both several years to get out and even after that they took a lot of abuse for leaving. Barca can put out the offer but i say Bilbao will respond and apply severe pressure on Nico.

They will have to face Chavier's wrath and explain that he won't be getting his favorite toy. Aint gonna be pretty.

He will be lucky to survive the summer, rather he is the one to face wrath!

The fanbase in Bilbao sadly can be a bit backward and have that mid-table Arsenal/Roma/Frankfurt mentality for when a player leaves their club it is traitorous/trecherous and lack of ambition but in fact its nothing more than ambition itself for I admire any Basque wonder who wants to steer the club to the long time awaited Lisa title after decades but the odds of that are slim for now and footballing careers are notoriously short.

Every top club needs to reinforce every season pretty much, especially when rivals are doing it, not that Barca has any chance for the titles, but still just to stay competitive n becos currently there r quite many scrubs that needed to be gone in the squad So naturally Xavi n majority of coaches would wanna put pressure on the club to make signings. What do ppl expect him to do, just make do with the current squad n the kids again?

I am reading reports that Xavi and Laporta have gone into a split or some sorts that could end very well him leaving the club after this season.

Laporta is too emotional, he is runing the club like the politician he is.

It makes no sense for all of this to transpire now after Laporta licking Xavi's arse and begging him to stay a mere 1 or 2 weeks before.

But Xavi deserves the sack for the misuse of Vitor Roque alone, so I will be content with the sack, unless there is another plot twist in the next 24 hours, which is not so unlikely.
