Re: The Rugby World Cup 2011 Thread
On another note, i have just seen the odds for this WC, and realised SA's odds are a massive 16\1, and considering we are the only Country to beat the All Blacks in New Zealand (actually 3 times in the last 3 years) in i dont know how many years, i am really considering taking my chances.

Hmmm good game but still a few too many mistakes from the Boks. Very good to see an improvement though...

Went to an Irish pub in Barcelona to watch the game this morning.
Brilliant performance from the lads and a well deserved win.

Cian Healy = GOD
Wow, what a performance. Pocock was obviously missed but you can only beat whats put in front of you. Advancing into the tournanment I think Kidney has to just accept that O'Gara is a better fly half than Sexton, end of. ROG needs to start the big games

I think South Africa showed today that any side should still fear playing them.

I think the big sides always feared us, but with the errors we made Aus, NZ or a bruiser side like England would have capitalised. We played well but faaaaar from our best. tbf we aren't at full strength, Once Victor and Bakkies are playing together again our lineouts will be fixed, Bismarck will give Sonny Bill a run for being the best 16th man. Frans Steyn back at 15 where Lambie has been average imho, when De Villiers is back at center... we have proven we are a very deep team, and i like that both John and the coach have said that they aren't happy with the errors, shows they know they need to step up big time!
Edit: Seems the Bakkies knock was a bit worse than I though it was, thought they took him off to prevent injury not because of it. Lets hope it's not too bad and he makes the Aus/Ireland/Italy game...
