Imagine if Vini had mocked some Barca player after a Clasico. Would've been called disrespectful for not respecting his peers. Damned if you do damned if you don't with that lad. Everything he does which is completely within the norm is twisted into something terrible. First it was the dancing, then standing too close during a corner now it is leaving the ball during a throw in.

I am more confused why Kimmich is insisting on giving the ball to Vini in the first place. He was never going to take the throw in anyways. It's like forcing Valverde to take the ball, I mean what did he expect him to do with the ball. Should've just left it

Yh man it feels like yesterday. None of us thought he'd develop his decision making at all. Credit to Carlo for trusting him and giving him room to develop. If ZZ had still been our coach, Rodrygo would be the starter and Vini the one to lose his position to Mbappe becuase he rated Rodrygo higher. With Carlo it was the other way round and it was the right decision

Many players that deserved it back then didn't get it because of the Ronaldo and Messi duopoly. If Neymar had that kind of impact this season he'd have won the balon d'or hands down bit he left to get out of Messi's shadow and the only way was down from there. Could never replicate that season again.

Vini is the biggest big game player I've seen since Ronaldo. Whoever we play you just know he'll contribute somehow no matter how bad we play

I assume you're referring to Messi because Barcelona certainly did not "produce" Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Stoichkov, shit, Barcelona did not "produce" Luis Suarez Miramontes either.
