Ps. I think Q Cooper has proved what I've always said about him, he's the paupers Carlos Spencer. Great in his moments but not WC...

It's sad that we haven't got to see Chabal this WC... Say what you want about him but he's entertaining!

Are France the most undeserving WC finalist ever? I think so. They Threw a game to get an easier path to the final, and have behaved very badly, from disobeying their coach to go out partying, towalking out on the media. No discipline! Sad really that Aus had to screw it up for the SH teams...

Not Really. considreing we had to face Fiji and Argentina to get to the final last time and they knocked out Wales and England, i think they should be there. afterall, they are the best in the NH imv. as you said, shame Ausies screwed it for us
anyway, i think i will be the 0.1 part of all none French people who will be supporting them while the 99.9 have already given the WC to the Kiwis. as much as i am still gutted on our exit, i cannot survive the prospect of the Kiwis talking for the next 4 years. its painful enough that they are already monopolising the Tri Nations. plus its about time they win the whole damn thing lol. if France somehow pulls it off, i will definately take off all my pants lol just because the Kiwis wont be champions lol

This is tense. So close to winning the World Cup, I think I'll hear the cries from New Zealand if France sneak a penalty in these last five minutes.

Ugliest finish imaginable, but well done to New Zealand, they've got what they deserved. A commendable effort from the French as well, however it's New Zealand's spotlight now. Congratulations to all GL Kiwis.

Not a fan of the All Blacks but congrats to them. France played one hell of a game.

I think in the aftermath, with all the relief and celebration, no matter what transpires in the next few days, New Zealand's world cup win can still be effectively summed up with three words: About bloody time.

Exactly, we looked so nervous throughout the match and were lucky to get the win.

Re: The Rugby World Cup 2011 Thread
Congrats to New Zealand. I only watched the last 10 minutes cause I didn't know it was on (and I don't follow Rugby) but congratulations anyway
Whenever I watch Rugby I'm pleasantly surprised. Might be because all I hear about in the US is 'NFL ooooo so good'.
