Italy were simply better on the day than Spain..

Cassano-Rossi partnership looks deadly..

And Italy have a great set of versatile midfielders..

We could just be peaking at the right time , in time for euros..

yes, Italy are the best team in the world, they have gone undefeated against the best of teams in the qualifiers such as Slovenia, Estonia and the very powerful Faroe Islands. And now they have confirmed their superiority over every other nation with this comprehensive 2-1 rout over Spain.

It's typical Italy again, we fear no team. It is a very young team though. 6 substitutions means we have a very deep bench.

Montolivo, Aquilani, Nocerino are average. DDR is out of form, Marchisio needs to step up (WHEN?), Pirlo is a shadow of himself. This team I dare to say needs some Gattuso.

Middlefield is quite weak, possibly even weaker than England's one. Defence is looking good, and attack what I can say is top notch

Listening to Dossena (the great Dossena 1982 World Champion) and Ranieri commenting on the game and they were commenting how Spain lost the game against the strong and talented Italian midfield. But, you probably know more than they do.
