Not sure why you're complaining about Partey. Your own team looked awful before Casemiro was introduced to it

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
two shit goals conceded to Pool ffs, as soon as the second half started going 2-0 down
we're 100% losing
3-0 now
Cackpo scoring 2 too
not even a case of Pool raising their game, we've been appalling

You can't expect Weghorse to carry the team every week, ETH needs a plan B I think.

I take it all back, most embarrassing performance I've ever seen from the club in a season where we've looked great mostly

More evidence UTD play better with Weghorse, 60 minutes with him - 3 goals, 30 minutes without him - 4 goals.
Imagine if that was CR7, would concede at least 12.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Sometimes teams just motivate themselves a lot more for individual matches. Real Madrid is a prime example of that. It works in shorter tournaments, not so much in the league unless they're able to churn out wins when not at their best level.
What I find interesting is that ever since Liverpool beat Man City back in october of last year, it seems like Man City suddenly lost their aura of dominance and their victories since then have looked much more like they've been churned out, rather than business as usual. The only match since then where they've looked like they had some momentum going, was in their most recent match against Arsenal.
Liverpool, on the other hand, were poor before they beat Man City and have been even worse since they won that match - with the exception of this match against Man United where they stepped up their level again. I don't know how to explain that other than fluctuating morale.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
What a shameful thing to happen for a club to lose 7-0 against your most bitter rivals, lol. I think this was a total fluke. We were really good in moments but ManUtd were really naive, thinking if they go all out attack and try to reduce 2-0 to 2-2, it doesn't work like that against this broken or any other previous Liverpool team. Klopps team work on spaces, it is the same fucking pattern from last few years and it works irrespective of players in the system. But we shit our pants when we have no spaces to exploit and we have no patience like last season.
Also openly wanted to apologize to fellow Madriastas that I thought this season, we will knock you out somehow irrespective of our form. But too many injuries and every game we have to change defence and midfield. Klopps team just can't work when there are regular changed to the starting XI. Another thing is, only Ancelottis Madrid have that arrogance to smash Liverpool's confidence. This team purely plays based on emotions, togetherness and confidence...more than pure talent across starting XI.

This is how football is, just so often wtf lol...
Although in our case the simple reason were Pedri/Dembele/Gavi/Lewand out with Roberto/Ferran/Kessie/Fati filling in recently, which is elite to proper scrub level XD
Best of all was WATCHING LIVERPOOL HISTORICALLY RAPE MAN U 7-0 though, WTF~! Love u Liverpool~ PRICELESS
Salah at his best reminds me of watching Messi, some of his touches, strength, n speed in general is just amazing. Im finally sold on Gakpo as well, looks a real all round talent.
As Thimmy said, motivation for big matches must be a key factor, n then just general tactics n luck on the particular game I guess, phew
