I don't get it, man. They put on the turbo mode against both Manchester clubs, but against all other teams, they're just cruising Laughing

It is finally time for Klopp's Liverpool to evolve and sign a midfielder who can influence a game like today or score minimum 10 goals a season.

You can sell him to Madrid or Man City, so that we can sign Bellingham.

And in that same period Sergio Ramos received 10 red cards and Madrid got significantly more red cards than Barcelona Laughing

Is the idea that Madrid paid the refs to protect just Casemiro and not other players? Maybe Casemiro was paying out of pocket for his personal ref protection? Laughing

Some of these Farça conspiracy theories don't even pass a basic common sense test.

What I find astounding is the denials of these fanboys in an almost desperation hope charges are bogus. I’m not just thinking of Barca, City and Juve as well.

In all three cases, their club has serious charges against them and if proven true, significant penalties that could potentially be the downfall of club, yet all you get is denial or attempts to shift the blame elsewhere!

Lol, never liked Casemiro much since hes too much of a bully, but lately hes earned more n more of my respect, considering all these yrs overall also, just saw the incident n I think it was accidental, he tackled the ball n slid off with momentum carrying onto the opponents shin? His reaction says it all. Oh ya n he owns a esports team or something? So pointed added for me too for that Razz

Casemiro is a boss, I don't know why Muscats has it in for him.

Key player in all of Real Madrid success. Still bossing it in a very problematic UTD squad.

I cant even count how many times Casemiro got away with murder in la liga. Dirty player. This has nothing to do with Barca or trying to downplay barcagate if proven guilty.

Ramos' comparison is idiotic. Since he's a CB, his fouls were usually as the last man, which is an instant red and cant really be disputed. Fouling further up the pitch is always more ambigious in terms of penalization. And besides, Ramos' fouls were usually spectacular enough to leave no doubt that the red cards were deserved.

You're now going to try and rewrite history and claim that Pepe and Ramos were squeaky clean choir boys? Amusing.

Nobody is trying to rewrite history or claim that Ramos and Pepe were harshly sanctioned. The point is that it's asinine to claim that one of the most carded teams with the most carded defensive  line in the league enjoyed "preferential treatment" just because one devious player managed to avoid getting a red card. It's clearly a combo of his own shrewdness, luck, and ref incompetence...nothing more, nothing less.

Where is this supposed preferential treatment for literally any other Madrid player? Cristiano Ronaldo has had more red cards at Real Madrid than Mascherano, Alves, Alba, Busquets , and Puyol have had at Barcelona Laughing

It is worth noting that we're talking about a team who's coach would actively encourage players to get red cards, werent they mostly awarded in the Mou era Very Happy? anyway I won't argue for the sake of arguing, it's just my feeling that Casemiro got away with a lot of dirty work, whatever the reason

The red cards are from the post-Mourinho era. And I'm not sure what you mean by "encourage his players to get red cards". Mourinho and other coaches encourage their players to get yellow cards in order to get suspended for a meaningless game and avoid missing the crucial one just after it.

Honestly think that was one of City’s best performances in the Pep era. Usually they have build up struggles against Liverpool, but I don’t think they’ve ever progressed the ball as cleanly against them like they did today. The front 5 were all amazing. Anyone else notice some Brighton-inspired build up mechanisms?

I was unfortunately stuck in a family dinner, so I missed the City vs Liverpool match. I had a feeling it would be a comfortable win for City with Liverpool being in such poor form and City's form looking like it's on the way up in recent matches. I saw that Grealish got on the scoresheet. How was he today? Other than scoring the goal, of course.

Liverpool of this season are trash tbh, and with that being said if Rodri gets the second yellow in the first half it's a completely different match.

Anfield is their only backbone when the big teams come to visit. Hoping we overcome that voodoo next weekend. We have to, simple, no two choices. City look to be hitting stride and i think they will lose to Bayern.

His best performance in a City shirt imo. Looked faster and more efficient than usual running on and off the ball.

Liverpool made City sweat in the first half with their counter threat. Their undoing was conceding the 2nd so early in the 2nd half.

City play better without Haaland, but they need Haaland to win the CL. Some paradox indeed.
