I know GL only rates success and often not even that, but Arsenal was massive this season.
Ran out of steam when it mattered most, but City's resources and the entire organization is unrivaled.

Exactly, can already see Pep with his head in his hands when Vini slaloms his way past the City players being too fast for their tactical fouls and dinking it past Ederson.Myesyats wrote:Vinicius would never let this happen

Same story every season. Next season it'll be the same.BarcaLearning wrote:Only Real left now for Man C to prove they are the best team there is finally, surely its gonna happen. They just too good this season
City are making a mockery out of the supposed best league in Europe. They just played the last 30 mins at walking pace against the league leaders. I mean how pathetic is that league.

It was amusing to me that Haaland finally managed to get his goal after all of those wasted chances, straight after he let his hair down

Is it me or has Haaland improved on his build up play, the last three games he's been well in that department. The assist to KdB was good he was being held by Holdomg and still led a peach of a ball.

City absolutely drilled Arsenal. Men vs boys performance.
Haaland needs to shore up his finishing for Madrid. Honestly thought it was one of his best performances in terms of link up play and what not, but he needs to be clinical.

Never doubted City would end up winning the league in the end, but 2nd place is still a fantastic season by arsenal

His link up play was still better and much more regularly displayed at both RB Salzburg and Dortmund. It's clearly related to his recent, positional change.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
bottled a 2-0 lead against Spurs
still think top 4 looks very good, but if we lose to high flying Villa at the weekend, could be rough
the team looks absolutely shattered
also, Chelsea are actually in a relegation battle ffs, I can see them only getting points from 1 of their remaining games, they should be safe but imagine they went down

Fred on for Eriksen was a strange substitution. Fred was pretty awful after he came on
Top 4 should be quite safe, though. I can't imagine Tottenham catching up at this point of the season. They've been dreadful.

United fans are worried about Liverpool more than Spurs, they have mostly home games and an easy run in. I'm positive they'll screw that up though.
We cannot lose to Villa this weekend and they're unbeaten in 10 games apparently and our first team looks completely exhausted.

Makes sense. I wasn't aware that they were this close to you on the table despite their streaks of negative performances this season. They have found a little bit of consistency since they beat you two months ago, but they barely scraped by against Nottingham Forest recently. They've had a really strange season, where they've lost to assumed worse teams and over-performed against the top ones. A bit similar to how Man United performed during Ole's last season before CR7 returned.

Well they score a goal each from their only shot and then there’s Grealish who has already missed 3 chances.
Pep needs to find a way to shoehorn Alavarez into the lineup instead of being the Haaland/KDB sub depending on who’s injured.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Just realized he has 15 goals in all competitions this season despite playing as a sub primarily
Vs Jesus who has 9 goals as a starter
I know Jesus was injured but their total minutes played can’t be that different
