quite a bit to unpack:
he is right- pressing is now the buzz word. everyone cannot just copy the same strategy. there's more to it, than everyone just pressing like they're on steroids

he is wrong- cristiano didnt have many valuable offers. the teams he wanted dont need him, he's old. the ones that want him ala sportin lisbon, can't afford him.

he is wrong about utd disrespecting him, i think the coach wanted him to leave and made plans around his exit. but no offers and he's under contract. which is why he is benched; possibly preparing for life after cristiano.

he isnt saying ure striker should do nothing else, but your striker should not have to press like a madman then tire himself in front of goal. Besides, different teams can have different strategies. the idea that every team in a sport should play the same way to win is bonkers. its like nba, everyone says the 3 is king. and that's whats killing a lot of teams who dont have steph or klay.

Hopefully Klopp stays for the next season also. Seems like last season challenging on 4 fronts took the life away from this team.

And as expected at the start of the season, with world cup this year, there was no way Klopps team would have survived the whole season. So Klopps needs to find the right balance as he did on so many occasions in his years so far at the club.
