Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Hopefully the govs wont continue to force ppl to get boosters though like every 6 months or every yr? Should be optional. Since so many ppl will have natural immunity whixis is even better.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Most countries has already started lifting restrictions, mask, passport etc.
We're doing the same starting next week. Everything opens up, no more mask, passport and the virus will once again be classified as endemic. Lets see how long it last this time.
Definitely glad I don't live under totalitarian regimes like in Australia, France & Austria.

LeVersacci wrote:If there's other treatments for covid-19, the vaccines loses their Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
An Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) is a mechanism to facilitate the availability and use of medical countermeasures, including vaccines, during public health emergencies, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic. Under an EUA, FDA may allow the use of unapproved medical products, or unapproved uses of approved medical products in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions when certain statutory criteria have been met, including that there are no adequate, approved, and available alternatives.
If you want to learn more about the virus, vaccines, pandemic and in general what's going on then I highly suggest listening to 2 episodes of Joe Rogan podcast. 1 with Robert Malone (inventor of the mRNA tech) and Peter McCullough (cardiologist and highly published medicial scientist).
If it sparks your interest then you can follow them afterwards on social medias.
Im not familiar with them n tried to look up YT, apparently they got deleted with reason being them beasically spreading anti-vax. Its hard to go on anything else apart from YT where I am so its really hard to find things out especially with Covid... I figure they basically mean the vaccines arent as safe as the govs project them to be? At least not safe enough to warrant mandatory?
I rely a lot of John Campbell on YT who I think seem very objective n fact based since he has no agenda apart from just summarising all the latest from the scientific community, n been very accurate with Covid all along. What do u think?

It's on Spotify if you got access to it. Otherwise there's plenty of places where you hopefully can find the 2 episodes on Google/Duckduckgo. Internet users has uploaded the episodes to various random places.
Yeah it got removed from Youtube due to "misinformation". You're not allowed to think critical according to tech companies like Google.

Yeah also it was debunked, because of misinformation, so it got removed.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Such a sheeply take. If what they were or are stating is wrong then engage in a debate with them and prove them wrong, instead of censoring them like we're in North Korea.
Matter fact. Doctors & Scientist has been invited to debate the virus and vaccine against Robert Malone or Peter McCullough after the episodes, and till this day not a single person has come forward.
But hey, lets just censor the inventor of the mRNA tech and one of the most published medical researchers in the world. Much easier.
I'm curious though. What is it that was debunked and therefore had to be removed from the 2x3hours episodes?

Mate, there is very clearly nothing I can say to you that will change your mind, if you've already chosen to disbelieve the scientific consensus, so you do you.
We agree on one thing: people shouldn't be forced to do shit, so let's take solace in that. I'm not debating science with someone who doesn't agree with the scientific method, no basis for any discussion.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
I myself have been sceptical about mRNA vaccines. Not to say they are necessarily unsafe, it is just that we don't know if there will be long-term effects. Independent research into the side effects of these vaccines are predictions and extrapolations thus cannot guarantee the safety of such vaccines.
For that reason I refused to take mRNA jabs while I got Oxford–AstraZeneca (viral vector) and Soberana 02 (conjugate).
The fact that vaccines help with hospitalisation and death is undeniable.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Yea, initially at the beginning I research the difference vax n one key info for me was it seemed mRNA doesnt get inside a cell's neclius (spelling) or inner core n hence doesnt affect the DNA or something along those lines, whereas the traditional ones do, so that largely made me think mRNA were better or safer (together with the fact they had higher efficacy, western made, etc.). But I really dont know anymore... ffs, it feels like no govs or big companies can be trusted at all anywhere in the world anymore... they all have their own agendas...

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
None of the vaccines alter the DNA. There was some misinformation regarding mRNA vaccines at the start which claimed it alters your DNA but it was soon unanimously debunked by the scientific community.
I'm no expert but what contributed to deterring me from getting an mRNA jab is the bit with your cells recreating the virus's spike protein. Maybe I've watched too many zombie apocalypse movies but that bit did concern me.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Anyone feels like Covid is mostly forgotten now? I mean even the media barely talks about it (in the uk at least) and no one cares how many cases there are per day or the amount of deaths or if any new variant is coming up
Is this back to normal?

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
The news is just as prevalent as ever.
Its just fatigue of a disease that isnt anywhere near as dangerous as we were lied to believe.
One's life cannot stop due to Covid that is just absurd hence why these mandates are a total joke and people have moved on.
Personally couldnt care less if cases are rising or not.
It needs to be treated as an endemic sooner than later.

Tbh i'm beginning to understand why some people are starting to get bored, I just got cancelled out in my workplace for objecting to getting the third dose. like i'm not even slightly anti-vax, i got the second dose and i'm fully immunized but now my coworkers think i'm a threat to them for refusing to take the third dose. Â
People are truly going insane over this thing

Simply presenting what the vaxx can and can’t do based on facts will make them go quiet. No need for lies.El Gunner wrote:just lie to anyone you don't have to show a vaccination card to about your vaxx status like the rest of us @Pedram

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Myesyats I havent checked but I think u can leave, or at least if as a Chinese national u apply for whatever visa n it gets approved. But coming back means like 21 days quarantine n thats been the case for this whole time...
First time since Covid started I've felt immediate or 'closer' experience of it though since its spreading fast in Hong Kong, whereas the whole of China theres only been very few cases sometimes here n there... I can understand the feeling of fear if its spreading in your city or state proximity, etc., but anyone who pays attention n with some common sense should know especially with Omicron now being a bit more mild ppl should not be that fearful? Unless if ur inner circle has vulerable I guess. As for the vax I just dont get why the govs still pushing for them, they are only temp effective n bottom line is ppl should have their own choice.
Or am I wrong?

I did actually try to tell them that, that no amount of extra doses will ever stop the spread of the virus but yeah they replied with the generic "so you don't believe in science?" response.
Seriously contemplating quitting the job, i absolutely cannot tolerate fanaticism on any subjects.

damn it's that bad? well if you got another job lined up, then sure. Otherwise don't shoot yourself in the foot and give them the pleasure of seeing you go. Just let the tension rest for a while, ignore them when the topic of vaccines come up, and only speak to them on other subjects.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread - Part 3
Anecdotally speaking and not even kidding as the ones who live in fear of the virus or more so swear by the mandates, the rather paltry vaccine and the works will rage at you if you criticise them and I have come to the lazy conclusion they unironically want this to go on.
The vaccine is effective only in improving your immune response to it and the science is interesting but its nowhere near one to prevent the cough.
