He was MOTM in the last clasico, granted we lost 3-2 but that's Xavi tax
Its not really hype anymore if its backed up by stats but he's still 17 lol
Lamine Yamal has delivered 17 assists for club and country in 2024, as many as Kevin de Bruyne. pic.twitter.com/NdoUeqtkjS

- Spoiler:
Can name at least 4 players that were better than Yamal last Clasico.... We also played the Clasico right after a very demanding game against City too, maybe 5th time a charm

Okay... the sole fact that we are comparing a 17yo to the, most likely, next B'dor winner is amazing on its own isn't it?
At least we're making progress from the claim that Brahim is better

I didn't compare them overall just compared a guy we thought had a bad game to the MOTM to make a point that he didn't deserve the MOTMMyesyats wrote:Okay... the sole fact that we are comparing a 17yo to the, most likely, next B'dor winner is amazing on its own isn't it?

He is a great player, have you seen me anywhere putting him down? I think he's an excellent talent. A bit wasteful but an amazing maturity for his age.
Brahim is also very good. He's unlucky he has so much attacking talent in front of him. Btw where did I compare them? Ive compared Arda to Yamal

Re: UEFA Nations league
I don’t know how we managed to best Austria with such a dysfunctional team and a makeshift defense, but we did.
Haaland scored a late winner, we only conceded a single goal for once, and Martin Ødegaard twisted his ankle, which might be really bad news for Arsenal.

He is better than Guler, whom you consider an insane footballer, in every way while being 2 years youngerhalamadrid2 wrote:Gavi

Re: UEFA Nations league
You two, constantly bickering over who is better. Can’t you acknowledge that both of them are great talents and potentially can be cream of the crop. Never say they already are as you never know. Whether it be injuries, or overplay or simply a low ceiling. Considerable previous talents have not come out well and in the case of Barca, they tend to overplay and they do nothing to ease the pressure on the kids.
But at this point, both look great and la liga is the winner with all the youth talent that is out there.
As far as academies, Barca does produce more talent for their first team, but as Hala said, Madrid has more pro plays in the major ligas than anyone.

Re: UEFA Nations league
There isnt even a debate on who's better at its well and truly Yamal its not even close. My problem with Yamal is how one-dimensional he can be with his repeated use of the same channels to go for his favoured shots along with a poor weak foot.
Arda is more interesting a player for me to watch but he has a long way to go before reaching the ranks of Yamal

Sounds good in theory but in reality that just means you produce a lot of mid players for Osasuna and Getafe to employ
Lucas Torro — Osasuna
Alex Fernandez — Cadiz
Luismi Quezada — Cadiz
Fernando Pacheco — Alaves
Edgar Mendez — Alaves
Burgui — Alaves
Marcos Llorente — Atletico Madrid
Mario Hermoso — Atletico Madrid (currently a free agent)
David Soria — Getafe
Ruben Yanez — Getafe
Roberto Soldado — Granada
Gonzalo Melero — Levante
Dani Gomez — Levante
Miguel Baeza — Celta
Oscar Plano — Valladolid
Javi Sanchez — Valladolid
Pedro Mosquera — Huesca
Jaime Seoane — Huesca
Antonio Valera — Huesca
Oscar Rodriguez — Sevilla
Denis Cheryshev — Valencia
Ruben Sobrino — Valencia
Dani Parejo — Villarreal

Re: UEFA Nations league
It's not only in Spain. It's across all top flights
Real Madrid’s La Fabrica academy has the most players in Europe’s Top 5 Leagues.
