Re: Ze German Thread
WTF is Rüdiger doing?
You can mentally picture me writing me this every time he gets to play, btw.

Would you take Grof Bozovic or Avram Grant?

Or Dick Advocaat, maybe? He'd fit in good.

Löw can‘t do anything with this squad anymore, just change something, anything.

In seriousness though. Wenger. Sammer. Top 2 candidates I can think of.

So, Löw has told Müller, Boateng and Hummels that they won't be selected again for the NT. A ballsy move. I definitely agree on Müller, but not sure you need to retire two 30-year-old CBs just yet.

Feel sorry for Boateng but it’s some nice karma coming around for Müller and Hummels with the way they defended the DFB on the Özil situation.

Re: Ze German Thread
My hatred for the German NT, and Löw in particular, has only intensified.
Everything this disgusting piece of shit is, he is because of the work done at Bayern.
Will be a pleasure watching him perish with his Swabian NT selection and his xenophobic DFB backing.

Re: Ze German Thread
I hope he has broken Bayern.
The Pig farmer club had very little to do with his and Germany's successes.
Neuer was a Schalke product
Lahm and Kroos only developed when they left the pig farm on loans to proper clubs Vfb and Bayer
Hummels and Goetze Dotmund
Klose and Ozil Werder. OK Ozil maybe Schalke too
Khediera Madrid and VfB
Where did Howedes come from, Schalke I think?
Cant recall who else was on the 2014 WC team, but Bayern had little to nothing to do with JLows success. Stop boasting about your "Man Cityesque, buy ready made players Bavarian mafia club" as some kind of nurturing developing club. Who are you, Hoeness and Rummenigge in disguise?

That's some serious L that Hans is taking here. Last time I've seen anything like it was ... well, last night in the Allianz actually.

Boateng, Muller, Ginter, Podolski and Mustafi were also on the German 2014 team if that helps.

Re: Ze German Thread
The new look National team without all that baggage from the old 2014 players, who really did all lose the fire in the belly after winning the World Cup. And I get that, for a lot of the players it would be the pinnacle of the career. Come on, beating Brazil 7-1 at home!?!?
then of course playing in their mere mortal clubs, would be a let down, it has happened before, with France ,Italy and Brazil.
Das Aufgebot der Nationalmannschaft
Tor: Manuel Neuer (Bayern München), Marc-André ter Stegen (FC Barcelona), Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt)
Abwehr: Matthias Ginter (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Thilo Kehrer (Paris Saint-Germain), Antonio Rüdiger (FC Chelsea), Nico Schulz (TSG Hoffenheim), Niklas Süle (Bayern München), Jonathan Tah (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Niklas Stark (Hertha BSC), Marcel Halstenberg, Lukas Klostermann (beide RB Leipzig)
Mittelfeld/Sturm: Julian Brandt (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Maximilian Eggestein (Werder Bremen), Serge Gnabry (Bayern München), Leon Goretzka (Bayern München), Ilkay Gündogan (Manchester City), Kai Havertz (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern München), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund), Leroy Sané (Manchester City), Timo Werner (RB Leipzig)

Brandt and Havertz are the future. Kroos should be dropped as well. There no need for him any more.

Re: Ze German Thread
International break is back and I dont know what I was thinking, but I was hoping to see some bright new talent being picked. Problem is, there is not any bright new talent. Outside of Kimmich, Sane and Havertz, I cant really think of any good young players? Maybe one of the Eggestien bros?
The only uncapped player JLo picked is Waldschmidt, who was top scorer at the U21 EM. Be nice if he gave ter Stegen a start, but he wont. And what is the deal with Boateng, turns out he may be a wife beater?
Somehow they beat the Dutch last time in Holland, dont think they will do it again on Friday. Really though, outside of France, are there any good Nat. teams in Europe.

It's still hilarious that Löw hasn't been sacked yet. What were those substitutions? What the hell is he thinking?

Re: Ze German Thread
Really don’t know what the appeal with Löw is, I kinda got it when Hansi Flick was still helping him but now he is alone and useless.
You want to have a new start? Start with the manager.
