Lul if you think he's getting under Floyd *bleep* Mayweather's skin.
He's the master of the mental side and one of the biggest reason he's 49-0.
Even if he could though, he just doesn't have the technical skill to be able to hit him.
As Firenze said, he's been outboxed at MMA level but he's going to manage to hit the best defensive fighter of his generation?
Yeah... no. There's not one argument in McGregor's favour, Floyd will out class him in every capacity just like McGregor would in an MMA fight.
It's a farce in every possible way.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Boxing bias in me needs Mayweather to absolutely embarrass him.
Having said that, I'd pay good money (Not really I'm a tight *bleep*) to see Floyd get choked out in the octagon.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Conor will approach Floyd from various angles that are not common for boxers, he will be changing stances which may confuse Moneyweather. Also Conor can hit really hard, I think people are underestimating that. It can go either way at this level especially that Floyd is a grandpa while Conor is still in his 20s.
I, for one, hope Conor knocks the *bleep* out Floyd. He's cocky and likeable at the same time which is really interesting. Also the guy is a great inspiration, his career path is something to look up to. If he wins this match it's because he deserved it through hard work and dedication.
Whenever I want to get motivated I listen to him saying how he was a plumber earlier and one day just decided to go home during a rainy lunch break with the plan of becoming a world champion.

I'm not buying the secret to breaking Floyds defence is to be an MMA fighter who's alright at boxing as opposed to an elite level pro boxer.

Agreed.
I believe in Conor. Shit-talking Floyd into agreeing to this fight is already a success for him.
For the first in my life I actually will be interested in a boxing match thanks to Conor.

Well then I guess you're not a real boxing fan. Says a lot as well given your above opinions on the match up.

And Floyd isn't?

This.
Creds to McGregor for actually making this fight happen though. Big pay day for both of them. Not sure I'm going to watch though, will see. Anticipating GGG vs Canelo more than anything else.

Floyd is clearly going to win this.
Guy can't talk and isn't very charismatic at all imo. He's also a really boring fighter. Don't even know if I want to watch him dance around for the whole fight.

LMAO. Floyd got owned so much. So many great lines by Conor I cant even remember them all.
One I really like: "If this was a real fight you're dead in 20 seconds. Twenty seconds and I smash you within an inch of your life."
or Floyd: "Bitch I do numbers, I make money" to which Conor says "You owe money"
This is honestly hilarious.

Lol there is a reason bookies have a bet with "fight won't last for more than 2 minutes"
Mayweather won't probably get hit even once.
Put your entire mortgage on this fight. Easy money.

The only way this will be good is if Connor says *bleep* it and kicks Floyd on the face.

Conor throwing that kick would be hilarious. Can't be worse than those headbuts that made Andre Ward's career.

Not the same weight though are they? Floyd walks close to 160 or low 160s. I Read Connor is about 170-175. The only time they will be the same weight is when they step on the scales.

Lmao at this circus. Either Floyd drops him in the first round, or they have beforehand decided to make it last longer, which would make it a fake circus fight. Laughing at everybody who have followed, or even payed of this event though.

I mean I still want to see it. I don't think McGregor will do terribly every round, but Floyd will beat him comfortably. It is a circus show though.
