Norwich vs Chelsea should be good. Same with Aston villa vs Spurs.

Stoke 'Pool should be good, especially if Michael Owen plays at all

United - Newcastle is the only game that you already know the outcome.
how the hell is it the most interesting game , Newcastle are one of the worst teams to watch in the league, United will win 3-1, 4-1 minimum.

And Norwich vs Chelsea is? Chelsea are the most boring team in the league
Newcastle put up a good fight against City. I think they will do the same vs United, but if they don't then i could just laugh at Cisse so win win

Norwich only lost once in last 11 and are pretty good at home. They can get a result against chelsea. But chelsea are improving too.

It's not about the goals.
it's about half empty stadiums
and well, the fact that basically every single game's result is pre-decided

Re: Christmas Footy- PL's Boxing Day Fixtures
The half empty stadiums thing is a myth. Attendances aren't as high as the PL but then again I see multiple teams with half empty stadiums in the PL as well. Atmosphere certainly is better in the Serie A with all the flags, banners and far higher noise levels. PL atmosphere is the worst out of the top leagues as its just a bunch of individuals sitting chanting the same old rinse repeat chants every 10 mins or so.
OT: Liverpool bias aside none of those fixtures are exactly enticing as Newcaslte-United would have been if this was last year, yet Pardew's team are just... I won't go further. Hopefully Liverpool performs as we tend to truly be abysmal during boxing day.

Ligue 1's alien atmosphere is by far the worst, at least for meArquitecto wrote:The half empty stadiums thing is a myth. Ligue 1 is a mixed bag. Some stadiums are quiet as the Scottish woods and others are brimming with a superb atmosphere. Certainly superior to the PL due to the Ultra movement and overall quality of the atmosphere on display. It depends really.

Ironically I couldn't care less about the league in a sense that the rest of the Serie A fans do so as long as Milan win
I'm only stating my opinion.

Re: Christmas Footy- PL's Boxing Day Fixtures
Everton - Wigan
Everton look to sustain their top-4 challenge without Fellaini in this match, while you never know about Wigan. I can see four goals in this match, minimum.
Fulham - Saints
Martin Jol showing what an overrated manager he is as he guides his very decent Fulham team from one disappointment to another. An exciting 3 - 3 draw on the cards here!
United - Newcastle
The only question in this game is that whether the likely 8 - 0 scoreline that we will have at the final whistle is Fergie's "anything you can do" nod towards Benitez or Pardew's silent appreciation about his 8-year deal. Probably a bit of both.
Norwich - Chelsea
Should be an absolute cracker, this one! Lead to change hands three times in this match and either one to snatch a late 3 - 2 victory, just hard to tell which club.
Reading - Swansea
The sort of fixture that Reading desperately need to win if they want to fight off relegation, but Laudrup's Swansea pack a punch that can make the knees of the most fearsome opponents wobble. This combination could well yield the most thrilling game of the day, my own prediction being 3 - 6 to the Swans.
Sunderland - City
Err... Hart to have actually a good game and City to win 0 - 1 with Gareth Barry again to score.
A.Villa - Spurs
Benteke brace not enough for a hot-and-cold-blowing Villa side as AVB's merry men march to a convincing 2 - 4 win with three penalties but only one of them scored.
Stoke - Liverpool
Stoke to double their goals-conceded tally at home this season as a late Michael Owen brace gives Liverpool a mighty scare before they triumph 2 - 3 at the Britannia.
It'll be an awesome Boxing Day
