Re: The Movie House - Part 8
Without Ghost In The Shell we wouldn't have The Matrix. Its one of the most influential sci fi movies out there.
Anyone seen Elite Squad? Brazilian film with main man Wagner Moura as the lead. Its really highly rated and was very popular is Brazil. There's a sequel too.

Yes, both are extremely good films.
Moura is GOAT in that film.

I love Tom Hanks but I can't sit through these Da Vinci Code films, an it's not for the lack of trying.

Next weekend for me.
My body is ready. I've been waiting so long for this movie. More than a year now since the announcement that Blunt was gonna star in it.
Emily Blunt is probably my favorite actress currently.

A Yellow Sea (2010)
Didn't really like this one. Was decent but nothing more. Overly convoluted with major major plot holes and inconsistencies. Started really well but in the end it became a big mess. The final reveal felt like a cop out. None of the characters were interesting.
6.5/10

you sure you watched the right movie
it's from 2010 not 2007
I don't remember any final reveal tbh, actually don't remember too much about the movie in general besides the premise lol. And that I enjoyed it at the time.

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
Sorry 2010. Didn't check the date.
- Spoiler:
The end scene where main guy went to the bank to kill the bank clerk as he found out that he was the one who ordered the killing but then found out that the dead guy(who had his thumb cut) wife was actually the one who started all of this and asked the axe man (dog owner) to hire main guy to do the job. Either due to the fact he was cheating with director kim's wife or due to his life insurance.

Nah few left.
I don't watch romantic comedies much but this film 'My Sassy girl' seems to be very highly rated. You heard?

Yes, those are the main genres. It also has fantasic dry comedy
But it's more than that, it's so existentially deep, realistic and the writing and technical aspects are glorious as expected from Coen bros.

Re: The Movie House - Part 8
Btw the guys its October ie Horror month.
Annabelle: 5/10
They could have absolutely ruined everyone with that doll, That doll is one ugly thing but the ending was very shite.
The Ring: 5.5/10
Nice concept, Beautiful background and a story, Decent ending. Not too scary unfortunately.
Nightmare at Elm's street 1984: 5/10
Damn they made a lot of gore then.
