Freeza wrote:Well then I understand it, even though they're going to depart very much frmo the civil war storyline, atleast the premise, since everyone knows their identities. But it's going to be more or less the same.
I'm just so freaking tired of this fanboy rivalry going on. I really can't stand listening to it, it's getting ridiculous. I love comics and movies form both companies, like most people. So I don't get the need for this stupid comparison and rivalry every single time one part does one thing.
Oh believe me, I have no "alliegance", so to speak, to either side
I love the comics and animations and movies from both sides, although overall I'd say Marvel have had more success(dating back to Blade, X-Men, etc). I do enjoy the rivalry between both sides because it makes for better material overall and prevents monopoly and laziness.
DC are pretty much 9 movies behind in this cinematic universe era but that won't matter if Batman v Superman turns out to be a massive hit. They have a lot of good stuff lined up too.
I think some people just feel the need to "pick a side", but I couldn't care less about that. I enjoy everything. My favorite comic book characters are Batman, Wolverine and Rorschach. So you can see the mix there. Couldn't care less who's from where. All makes for a better experience.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
And about the Civil War story, I already accepted the fact that they'd change a lot of things since there actually isn't going to be Spiderman. Looks like they may be trying to make Black Panther play the role of Spiderman in a lot of ways in that story(judging by the things they did in the announcement).
And it'll be interesting to see how they spin the story in another angle, given the identities part of it isn't there either.

There is hope, perhaps a pipe dream, that Sony might rent Spiderman to Marvel. Let's see.

Think Tony will start the new version of S.H.I.E.L.D or something where everyone needs to be under control with complete transparency. While Cap on the other side don't want superheroes to have any alligiance because of what happened in Cap 2 and what will happen in Avengers AoU

Good call. Seems like a fairly obvious route to take.

At least its an infinitely better chance than getting X-Men away from Fox

Would you even want X-men back to Marvel? doubt we'd be getting as many quality movies as we're getting as of now. It would also f up everything with the skepticism about mutants, when there is a *bleep* hulk running around

I can't find the interview here but Jeremy Renner said Hawkeye will have a major role in Captain America 3, as big as Black Widow had in Winter Soldier. This was before the Civil War rumors.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
If Marvel get Spider-Man than I will get some excitement for these movies.
Spider-Man
Captain America
X-Men
The only 3 (well 2 and 1 set of mutants) worthy and respectable superheroes from Marvel imho.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Spiddy will never go back to Marvel unless the Sony Company is in big big trouble, currently Sony as a whole isn't in the best shape and their Movie Division is the only one making them huge profit
On the Fox side, they will never let big of x-men, it's a cash cow for them and with X-force and possible X-men solos and Xmen & F4 team ups it he future they have alot on their plate
Plus MCU doesn't need X-men anymore they have Inhumans which technically are not too different in a sense from mutants
Btw Feige said "We really do believe the Inhumans can be a franchise or a series of franchise unto themselves. "

Edge of Tomorrow what a movie. A sci-fi version of Groundhog Day. Brilliant.
Home Alone. Was on and I watched it. That nostalgia what a wonderful film.

i love this franchise and i love paul walker and vin diesel and i will definitely watch this for paul but this movie seems to be more and more becoming a military operation story rather than street racing, GTA,
I just hope this movie was like the first two... just pure street racing based.... and not just some FBI/military thing
and they need to be putting more realistic street racing stunts and racing rather than impossible CGI gimmicks!

Jake friggin Gyllenhaal... Best performance of the year from anyone so far. Nightcrawler amazing. Jake Gyllenhaal ffs, knew he was great, but this is De Niro in Taxi Driver esque.

Freeza gonna watch Nighcrawler this weekend. Expecting a masterpiece performance from Gyllenhaal. The trailers looks unbelievably insane.
And saw The Judge with Robert Downey Jr. and Billy Bob Thornton. Meh not worth wasting money. 6.5/10.

He plays the role perfectly.. The dialogue is also amazing. Probably one of the best directing debuts in history.
