My top 5 so far of the year that I've seen
Ex Machina
Mad Max
Sicario
The Martian
Inside Out
I'm sure once I watch The Revenant and The Hateful Eight both will get into top 5.

Dude it's one of my favorite films ever. Top 10 definitely. *bleep* love that reprehensible side of the characters. Clive Owen performance is goat. Natalie Portman as well. They both got Oscar nominations for it

Though I have no clue what prequels you are talking about.

Seriously though if any of you hasn't yet seen The Voices, get on it.
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_voices/
It's one of the best horror dark comedies in recent times. How films in that genre should be made. Colourful, funny and with a wonderful pacing. One of Reynolds' best career performances no doubt.

I think i'm gonna retire my cinema life after The Rev. and H8, cba to deal with inconsiderate c*nts sitting around you, crap seats and advertising pollution (as if Odeon's cringy f*cking ads weren't enough, "Turn off your mobiles, yes that means you in the middle!"). Not even BarcaLearning comes with this shit.
Might look into this screener life that firenze has, provided its not shakey cam stuff.

Gonna download it
Burn it onto a disc
Shit on disc
Insert in VHS player
Mail to David O. Russell
My reaction to might be because I've got the flu. But generally not a fan of movies with annoying idiots

I've never had an experience like this. It's always awesome in Denmark. Probably because everyone is so shy and socially awkward. I couldn't live without it tbh. Cba to watch screeners.

Me and my mate nearly walked out when that came up before star wars

We usually go vue which is much better (although their screens can be dodgy at times). Odeon is more expensive for the brand name. Try going to Vue instead.

Watched X+Y
Good film. Flawless performance by Asa Butterfield. Sometimes the film was all over the place but the storytelling was nicely done. Final scene between Asa and his mum was fantastic.

Yasss!
It's probably my number 1 lowkey/under the radar movie of the year atm. Personally think the ending was a bit rushed and not so good, but yeah storytelling and pacing was on point before that.

By the way, anyone downloaded the Steve Jobs screener yet? God I hate dumb comments on torrent sites, like one person says it isn't even screener quality and the audio is delayed, then you get another that says GREAT UPLOAD, TRIFFIC JOB M80-71

Yea that's what i meant with 'all over the place'. There were so many sub plots going on and all were forgotten in the end lol.

Saw Spotlight last night. Fantastic movie. Just loved it. The level of realism in the movie was just insane. I'm so glad they didn't try to shove needless exposition down our throats. Fantastic cast and great performances.
9/10.

Hyped up the LADS about the hateful 8 on 70mm last night when we were watching Star Wars.

Re: The Movie House - Part 6
My new top 5 for the year
Ex Machina
Mad Max
The Martian
Spotlight
Sicario
Saw Creed as well. Didn't really do it for me. Wasn't any more special than Southpaw. I rate both films as 8/10. Great sports dramas but overall I can't have them in the same sentence as the rest of the films. Also both are behind Warrior in my sports top 10 list.

Can't freaking wait. I can't wait to see how they'll manage to do a movie where everything except 1 actor is CGI.
Serkis is also gonna direct another Jungle Book for 2017. More excited for that one tbh.
