overpowered, like Rey was 5 seconds after finding out she was a force user. Everybody complained about that.

I'm guessing Ren will be twice as good by episode 8 now he's getting trained up and will end up wrecking the protagonists in a scene or 2

Ah yeah you would have missed the whole Ren argument crap at the time it happened.

The main point is throughout the movie they made a point of showing us chewbaccas weapon destroying stormtroopers to build up to chewy hitting Ren in the gut with it. So all that was keeping good old Kylo alive was the force otherwise he'd roll over and bleed out.

I was initially pissed Rey schooled him until I thought about it on the way home from the cinema Laughing

Ren wasn't really strong in the force at all. He was so conflicted. The confusion comes from people comparing it with the old trilogy and Vader's powers there. The force power shouldn't be compared. If you want to compare it, compare with Rebels or as much as I hate it... the prequels.

What I liked about Ren is he wasn't just generic 'i'm evil as *bleep*' he was a kid that got sent away and groomed (in a non pedo way) by a dark sith lord and ended up snapping. He's conflicted as hell which can make for great storytelling if done well.

Facebook is cancer for movies. Everyone says Star Wars is gonna suck. Meanwhile on 50 shades trailer people act like it's gonna win Oscars.

How can anyone think this movie is gonna suck when these directors are making it is beyond me. They have literally never made a bad movie.

He broke through as a writer and actor before rapping. Wrote a lot of season 2 of 30 Rock I think.

I'm writing an exam about Star Wars fandom and I was curious if any people on here consume different mediums of Star Wars content outside the films (games, books, comics etc).

I might be looking for someone to interview for it. Not sure it'll amount to anything, but I would really appreciate the offer to help me with this assignment. It isn't going to be a huge time consuming interview.

Diego Luna is white, so I don't know what they're on about. Also doubt Mads Mikkelsen is a villain in this, not directly in any case.

They're just trying to gain attention. Same with John Boyega being a black stormtrooper because of PC, despite them not knowing that stormtroopers aren't clones.
