Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
Yeah I don't think anyone thinks that Sterling is "shit", nor have I changed my opinion on how good he is relative to his age bracket.
My opinion is based purely on speculation about what is going on. We don't know what the specifics are. If he re-signs and wants to play here that would make me happiest of any potential outcomes. If he doesn't want to play here, and is just looking for money, I don't care if he's sold. It's that simple.
You try to drag drama into every situation on this board, and most of what you say is completely made up or ridiculous.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
What exactly do you mean by "he's not so good that I'm afraid to play against him"? The kids already arguably our best player at 20 years of age. With the world at his feet. You keep saying we have "great youth" and "can't wait for this team to stay together and gel and win so many trophiessssssssssssss" and then are happy to let the best of the lot go.................. *
Should we let Henderson go then, he is after all, "just looking for money"?
"Try to drag drama".
"Completely made up or ridiculous".
I might just stick to the general section. Keep worshiping old mate. I hope he stays for another 5+ years just so he can entertain you. We'll probably win 1, or maybe 2 trophies in that time, but he'll be a success eh. He'd have prove me wrong. He'll eventually come good. Right?
* EDIT: Pretty sure you were happy enough to let Suarez go too. Because we'd make a lot of money off him, and we'd have signed soooooooooo much quality.

I also feel frustrated but I think we should leave it at this point and see it at the end of the season once again. But I think as a club it is our responsibility to brain wash him and make sure that he signs a deal. I dont think you guys are able to see the bigger picture. We should at no cost sell him. We need consistency in the first XI so we can build up on what we would achieve in this season.
This is Sterling's fault?
I'm sure Raheem's to blame for the likes of Henderson, Gerrard and co not signing new contracts too.
what is my post and what is your reply...lol

I mean that everyone seemes pissed about the situation (not about Sterling personally). The situation that the club is not able to resolve the matter. I still cant believe that it is getting dragged for so long.

I don't see how the Gerrard leaving adds any weight to your argument.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
I don't think it's primarily about money. The kid is thinking about what is best for his career.
Pretty sure he would've signed already, had he not the unique opportunity to come home

Playing in Cup games and odd league ones, great ambition . He would have signed if it were not for money.Hapless_Hans wrote:I don't think it's primarily about money. The kid is thinking about what is best for his career.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
His been under performing for a while now, shame ibe is injured could of gave sterling a reminder that his no superstar yet.
FSG will have no option but to over spend on a WC proven talent in the summer. We don't get that singing might as well call us a poor mans arsenal.

Well the reports come from Italy.
Croatian international Mateo Kovacic will join Liverpool for £22m in May, according to reports in Italy today.
The Austrian born attacking midfielder has also been attracting interest from Arsenal, but reports in Italy suggest cash-strapped Inter are desperate to sell and the Reds have agreed to meet their asking price.
Kovacic, who turns 21 in May and has already racked up 19 caps for Croatia, joined the Serie A club in a deal worth around £11m back in January 2013.
Earlier today, we brought you reports that Brendan Rodgers is planning to rejuvenate his attacking options this summer by offloading a trio of first team stars.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2015
Reports link us with Papadapoulos again also. He's been great when healthy, and is finally getting a good run out with Leverkusen. That presence in the backline if we had Papadapoulos and Sakho starting. =3
I think the big asks for us this transfer window are a legit top end CB, a RB and an MC. We'll probably be selling all of Balotelli, Borini and Lambert as well so maybe even getting another striker will be a priority.
Papadapoulos and Kovacic coming in would be dream signings and if Rodgers is moving back to 4-3-3 or the diamond eventually (and he will) could you imagine the spine of this team if those signings could be made?
That's a contending spine.

Papadapoulos - Sakho
Can
Henderson - Kovacic
