But anyways,he'll get ample playing time with Roma.You need atleast 5 midfielders for a 3 man midfield.

He agreed with Juve for the same reason,that he'll get considerable amount of playing time unlike at PSG.

Plus teams like Roma are a good environment for him to grow.You just know they're going to sell some key player maybe next yr so he'll automatically be ahead in the pecking order then.

That's why l'Equipe has said that Rabiot has not accepted Roma's offer... they have to convince him. Rabiot wants to go to Arsenal.

Falcao would have guaranteed us success next season imo.

Since it's Carlo who is saying no I am sure that if things don't go well next season then Flo will use this as an excuse to sell Benzema imo because he is the main reason we are passing on El Tigre. Protecting him, baby sitting him, giving him unlimited and undisputed care and coddling.

Karim has to prove that he deserves this preferential treatment. Because for the life of me I don't understand why he is considered untouchable when everyone else has to fight for their lives just to stay on the squad every summer.

Why dont you try to understand why Carlo passed on Falcao? he is not a good fit.

If and When benzema fails, we will address it, but for once, this is going to be his second season in a row being a starter, and being trusted. It's going to go well. Every striker in the world gets to evolve in an environment where he is trusted, why not Karim?

anyway, if he flops and we sign Falcao, i hope we can sign RVP or another big CF as well, Falcao will have to compete and to prove that he deserves to play for Madrid Laughing

I agree. I have no doubt they are happy to keep him, but they also would have loved to sell for a high price.

Roma just caved in to Benatia's pressure, that's what i saw. A club that sold Marquinhos for 35 millions, sell a better defender in his prime for less, downright stupid.

There is a very obvious reason why Benzema is the third option lol in any case if he really wanted to be the first option (he doesn't) then he's welcome to go elsewhere and show the world his stuff.

I'm not saying we should sell him, he has value. However I don't understand why he alone should be "trusted" and nurtured. When there is a lot of evidence that he isn't the main or most important reason behind any of the club's recent success.

With Di Maria gone and the now likely public view that the club passed on Falcao this summer Benzema should and will have a magnifying glass on him. We'll see if he can step up and give us a proper season that befits a player wearing Di Stefano's number nine and I'm not talking about goals or assists here.

We already saw against Atleti that he's not off to a good start. He looks his usual timid and scared self in games like that.

You mean hearsay tales like "they desperately offered him out to anyone and everyone" ~ Mole, 2014?

And FYI, I'm obviously (or so I thought) not saying that I have first-hand knowledge of Fiorentina's transfer strategy. My point is merely that if their tactic was to demand an unrealistically high fee from Cuadrado's suitors so as to keep the player at the club, it worked.

Did I say anything that went against that? Benzema is obviously a great player when everything is nice and going our way. He's nice member of a cast when it's showtime at the Bernabeu against Villarreal or Sevilla.

He isn't someone you can go to war with at San Mames or other tough venues though. I think we need an alternative for those games.
