Manchester United are readying a £29 million bid for in-demand Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels. The World Cup winner was named captain for the forthcoming season but United feel they can prise him from Germany.

It's not a bad move actually with the current crop of strikers on the market. There's no realistic option available right now and Eto'o would fit in better at Liverpool than he did at Chelsea because his strengths are making runs, being quick and finishing (exactly what we need in a back-up to Sturridge). He also brings a ton of experience. Since guys like Reus, Cavani, Falcao, etc. are clearly not available or realistic he's not a bad stop-gap at all.

And it looks as if Arsenal would like to get Benedikt Höwedes... As if Dortmund and Schalke would easily let their captains and most important defenders get taken away so easily!

Atleti fans are upset cause he has regurlaly posted on his twitter that he is a big Real Madrid fan and supports them, lol.

Ozil and Isco are Barca fans...it makes no difference once the player starts performing. Plus trust, after a few derbys and Raul feels the heat from the R. Madrid fans, I'm sure he will tone it down a notch on his support. Just how I'm sure Ozil felt like after a few clasicos

Easy with the hype.Its just another rumor,nothing concrete.That said they already have a world class team anyway regardless of this signing.
