Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
If Mou would have been in for United instead of Moyes, we would have most likely seen Chelsea going all out towards Hoofcastle for that 7th place, and United dominating the league again.

This kind of baseless nonsense is what silly conspiracy theorists thrive on.The_Badger wrote:I think we all know Mourinho wanted to succeed Fergie. He's incredibly bitter about it all isn't he?
Had to leave Real Madrid, couldn't go back to Italy, couldn't go anywhere else in Spain, Munich job taken so went crawling back to Chelsea ignoring the reasons why he left there in the first place.
Either provide cogent evidence/proof of this or keep it to yourself.

Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
Mou wanted to succeed over Fergie ever since SAF criticized his Porto side for diving, hes been dreaming for that chance ever since then. Good times.

Man Utd clearly wanted to look towards the long term, rather than looking at someone who only sticks around for a few seasons, spends hundreds of millions, insults and disgraces the club then leaves, blaming other people for the reason.
Moyes should and will be given time and support.

no one cares about the stability, its all about results in this day of era.The_Badger wrote:the xcx wrote:If Mou would have been in for United instead of Moyes, we would have most likely seen Chelsea going all out towards Hoofcastle for that 7th place, and United dominating the league again.

Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
Who are they? Fans were moaning about Moyes since October and the fact that he was ahead of pecking order to Mou is just adding insult to injury.
Only trophies can satisfy big club like United, its not like we are talking about Arsenal or Liverpool here.

Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
They as in those that selected Moyes for the position.
They understood that replacing the greatest football manager ever was a difficult task hence why they had Fergie advising.
Obviously they drew up a list of candidates and decided what direction they wanted the club to go and who they felt was best to lead them that way.
Mourinho wasn't the answer, but they felt Moyes was.
Time will tell if the decision was a right one, judging after 7-8 months won't.

The most worthless and useless argument I have ever been involved in. Absolutely nothing matter and frankly the only reason I even debated last night was because I had an exam today and I wanted to do anything but study. Drake vs Michael Jackson debate had more merit than this.

I think everyone here is aware of the reason of his appointment. As for why Moyes was not such a great idea for me Ive already brought that up many times.The_Badger wrote:g.They as in those that selected Moyes for the position.

Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
I'm concerned of this forum's ability to comprehend matters lately as either it is product of a short attention span or blatant trolling.
What is represented in this title does not represent what Wenger has expelled verbally in his interview.
Wenger has a close and amicable relationship with the press in which he muses constantly on their questions as long as it doesn't cross a certain border in his books.
Almost chose to criticize his words until I learned the context of this answer.

Re: Wenger: Mata deal unfair
Wenger responds to Mourinho's "complaint" claim:
"What I said was not a complaint. It has nothing to do with Chelsea. It was just a suggestion, do you think it is right or wrong? I can accept that you have different opinions, you know. It was just an opinion and this opinion was not a complaint. People can think about it and say no that is wrong we think it is right as it is and I will accept it."
"Everybody is free in life to have his opinion. I never speak about people, I speak about facts and about ideas. Never about people."
"I was asked a question and gave an honest answer. I'm still naive enough to believe that people are more interested in the ideas than in creating conflicts."

Stop it bro. No way is Mata useless. Giving Mata to Moyes is like giving a smartphone to your grandma. What do you expect?
