Presenting your United squad for today’s lunchtime kick-off! ️#MUFC || #SOUMUN
— Manchester United (@ManUtd) September 14, 2024
Look at Eriksen in that picture and tell us how United fans are suppossed to feel going into a game that too after a humiliation against Liverpool. Seeping away any last drop of confidence ffs. Atleast put a better photo. The guy literally looks like a 60 year old war pensioner. Ten Hag is taking the piss. fecking bald cnut.

Zirkzee looks good. There's a presence about him as opposed to Hojlund. And his passing and linkup play is nice. Like a young version of Kane. I dont know why there werent much interest in him apart from us. Could be developed into a top player if we play it right.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
He's not very clinical though is he, but I'd heard that before we signed him. Not a proper goalscorer.
Anyway, think we're fortunate given the first 30 mins and Onana saving the pen. And that against arguably the worst team in the league IMO.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
Yea his finishing is iffy but that's why having someone like RVN could be great for him and also for Hojlund. There's a lot to polish though true for both of them.
About us yea lol lucky af. Soton were taking us for a ride for 30 minutes. Bruno once again doing nothing and then giving the assist for De Ligt which once again his fans will use to quash any criticism of him. Fair enough. Big him up when we get these smash and grabs against shitty teams and then repeatedly come up short against any decent teams with Bruno falling and moaning. If we need to progress as a proper team we need him out of the team and I stand by it. Yea, him and Rashford.

Lol yea a tad bit below iffy. But he was yesterday one of our better players. Would put him only behind Amad, Onana and Mazroauoi. I wonder how well will he do in that Bruno role when Hojlund returns.
And told you guys Slot ball is meh. We basically just handed them the game last week through 3 mistakes leading to 3 goals. Wait till their Klopp ball muscle memory completely wears off. Can see more teams picking points against them. And their squad depth is pretty shit even though first 11 is strong. They are in the same boat for a top 4 fight along with Spurs, Chelski, us and Newcastle.

Looking at Man Us squad, its suddenly a lot better than last season so on paper it should be a better yr?

Arsenal have a lot of injuries, so people are beginning to doubt their chances of challenging for the league title. Martin Ødegaard twisted his ankle for Norway recently and Declan Rice is also injured. Both of their new signings are also injured, Merino and Calafiori. Tomiyasu and Zinchenko as well.
Liverpool haven't changed their squad all that much since last season, so I'm not sure why they would be considered Man City's primary challenger. Have you been watching Man City recently, BL? Savinho seems like a rich man's Doku, so far this season. He's a flashy Brazilian who likes to dribble a lot.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
Been mainly watching highlights n the odd game tbh... the new wingers I think there are 2? Yea look decent enough considering its just the beginning of the season n give Pep the benefit of doubt that they will be good enough so thats good. The main guys hitting form should be enough... the only issue I think Man C may have would be say Haaland gets injured cos dont seem to have a backup 9?

Only 1. Their only transfer activity this season was bringing back Gundogan and signing Savinho. Oscar Bobb might be other winger you're thinking about. He was playing really well in preseason, but then he got injured.
Pep's response to a journalist's question regarding the lack of backup for Haaland was that Oscar Bobb can play as a striker, but it looks like Oscar is in Barcelona to undergo surgery on his foot, so he will probably be out of action for a while.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
Lol... yea knowing Pep he could turn anyone playing into any position tbh But definitely the key will be if Haaland stays fit n on form until the end of the season, otherwise the other players will need to share the responsibility of scoring the goals which will be much more difficult than the way Haaland is scoring them atm

Re: Premier League 2024/25
^^ the real challenge indeed, we literally have to be inch-perfect going up against this City team for the league... except for falling short to them, we've been worthy of being champions for the past two years
put us in La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga we're back-to-back champions

Largest sample of copium on GL.
And Arsenal couldn't beat a 2nd place Bayern what makes you think the team would finish first in the league?
And the nerve to even mention La Liga

Re: Premier League 2024/25
Real Madrid have never been a great league team... we pushed the greatest league manager of all-time down to the wire around 90pts and you think we wouldn't have walked Lol Liga last season?
Bayern actually gave a fuck in the CL last season, everyone commented how different they looked in comparison to their league selves. And still they only marginally beat us because we shot ourselves in the foot in the first leg.

I know why Arsenal has not won anything notable. Answer is very simple, they are in this never ending cycle of experimenting with new talents, ideas and tactics.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
there was nothing new about us from 2007 to 2022... we were nice, worthy of a mention, won some FA Cups, but nowhere near good nor consistent enough to sit alongside the best of Europe...
now we're actually really, really good... with a great defense, solid set of on-field and off-field operations, and a manager who is in tune with the tactics and state of modern day football
