Well Trump is behind but the election is decided by a bunch of swing states. on average, Democrats need to be up by four points in nation-wide polls to comfortably win those crucial states.

The 47% is not poll btw, that's just Kamala's chance of winning according to Polymarket, a website where people can bet on elections.

Following politics is akin to following celebrity gossip except with the latter you know it's bad for you. There is nothing special about being in the know of polities and organisations for anyone with political history and its direction will know they are not designed to benefit you.

Also I didn't watch the debate, but judging from the highlights Trump didn't do very well while Kamala did. The latter surprised me tbh. Though it does seem like Trump was set up, hosts clearly on Kamala's side, fact checks only for Trump and it also seems now that Kamala was given material before the debate so she could practice, which doesn't surprise me because, from the highlights, she seemed to be punching well above her capacities.

While I admired him being constantly in hostile interviews while they play softball with the others, this was pretty stupid.

But I didn't watch it so these are just impressions from a small sample.

We knew we were in for a wild ride, and wild it is. I truly hate all this stuff but can't help checking in occasionally, I feel this is one of the most important elections in our lifetime and the outcome could swing our futures significantly.

The fact the establishment can't have Trump winning this badly tells a lot.
