if Chelsea end up winning the UCl and replace Spurs or Newcastle or even Arsenal from the UCL

We knew the rules at the beginning of the season, it will be heart wrenching if we finish 4th and Chelsea go on to win the CL ( even tho it looks unlikely now)

stillArsenal wanted to use this in 2006 but we ended up 4th anyways.

just saying, they might win the UCL, but their league performance has made Arsenal's look good

so does that mean teams would get bumped down?

example... right now spurs are 4th and toons are 5th... so lets say it stays that way... if chelsea wins the cl... would they get the spurs spot? arsenals, man city or man u spots? and would spurs be bumped down into the el?

If Chelsea win the CL they take 4th place spot in the CL and 4th spot goes into the Europa League.

I already feel bad for the 4th placed team and Bayern, because Chelsea will go to Allianz Arena and park the Stamford Bridge by the goal. I'm hoping Bayern will be able to put away what little chances they get.

It wouldn't be unfair if you were in their position.

You seem to have missed the plurality of my statement.

Anyway, I was giving you country props for producing the man that pioneered and inspired some of the greatest defensive systems ever to grace a football pitch.

A man who understood how to win football games.

If you feel it's a slight or insult , then we've reached as sad juncture in time where delusional people would like to act like if defense is not a valid part of the game.

The very fact that you're drawing parallels to the holocaust means is pretty sad.

I think Chelsea will win by playing like the WC display vs Barca. One could say it was luck but they rode on it just like Barca did 3 years ago against them.

Now we'll see who are the naysayers.

I disagree . They have shown a great Spirit : Not the team but Players like Drogba, Meireles, Lampard , Mata and Ramires mainly . They basically played the entire season with no goalscorer. If Nando or Drogba scored at least 10 goals this season they would have been qualified for CL or if AVB managed to win 2 or 3 games more.
So, basically they weren't great but WOW , they saved their season even if they have to work hard this summer

If you guys are judging Chelsea by the last game and possibly the next game, then you have been :vagi: ... Lampard laughing while we concede tells it all about how much effort has been put into those games..
