I would describe this Newcastle team as "woeful" but I'm not sure that's strong enough, honestly.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Lukaku is the BEST young striker in the world.
He has it all:
-Very fast
-Very strong
-Finisher: Two footed + head
-Intelligent movement
How could Chelsea let their best striker go????
That no-look through ball assist was just the delightful.
And then that lil cut for the 3rd goal was just as cool!

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
I just don't understand what Mou was thinking sending Lukaku on loan.
BTW, Everton are looking much better than United right now. depressing as that is to admit. Martinez has them playing some lovely football this season.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
It's not like Chelsea sold Lukaku he's on loan. Kid is only twenty so maybe another year under a good manager while playing amongst friends isn't the worst thing for Lukaku right now.
Chelsea could use a goal scorer but there is no guarantee he plays as well as he currently does for Everton.

Lukaku must have racked up up to 17 points on FF right now.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
You have a point regarding your last paragraph. He looked very nervous when he came on against Bayern in the super cup and missed a pen too. I think maybe Mourinho thought he wasn't quite ready to lead the line for Chelsea just yet.Zealous wrote:It's not like Chelsea sold Lukaku he's on loan. Contender for goal of the season. Such a clean strike. He did it so casually too.RealGunner wrote:http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2838/10025899043_7f6a95cc1f_o.gif
