Into The Wild
Well after ALL THE HYPE that this thread has given this film, I finally got around to watch it a few days ago. It is a wonderful story which is brilliantly directed by Sean Penn. This one is for the people who like adventures and those who loves an inspiring life story (movie is based on a novel which is based on a true story). Emile Hirsch did is job pretty well. I loved all the interesting characters he met all along his journey, even boring old Kirsten Stewart. She fit that hippy-type character pretty well, so yeah. It's not a special or great film, but it is definitely good and I'd recommend it for sure.
My rating: 7.8/10

Thor: The Dark World
After Nolan's Batman trilogy I don't think I'll ever enjoy superhero movies again like I did that trilogy.
But with that said, I think this movie is the best superhero movie I've watched since anything other than the Nolan trilogy.
Spoiler:
So yeah, I enjoyed it more than that overhyped and overrated The Avengers movie. And it's certainly better than its prequel. And of course, you can never go wrong with Natalie Portman Proud
My rating: 7.7/10

I know this film will just be crazy and epic, as you guys may already know I'm a Nolan-holic. My fav director he is. I mean, there isn't a Nolan-directed movie out there that isn't great (okay maybe Following isn't that great, but it's still very good.)

Did either of you watch it? Is DiCaprio's performance Oscar worthy?

Mud and Dallas Buyers Club have already to seen that honestly.

He's been getting quite a bit of Oscar buzz for both roles.

Haven't watched Dallas Buyers Club yet, however I do already consider him as an A-rated star. I just believe there are still some sceptics out there.

Watched "PRISONERS"
Great movie with a great story and great acting all around. Hugh Jackman's and Jyllenhal's best performance in the recent years. This movie is in the same tone as "Mystic river" and "Gone baby gone" and also carries the same amount of suspense. I liked mystic river better but this one is great in it own.
PS: Absolutely loved the way they ended the movie

I watched Back to The Future last night and through out the movie, I had this corny smile due to how friggin' brilliant it is. I hadn't watched it in years.

One my all time favourite movies.

I don't think he'll win it considering the field, but yeah, he should be nominated.

Hmm. Think the nominees will be something like Hugh Jackman, Tom Hanks, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey.

Yeah, I know. Very much like Mystic River. I like Prisoners more though. Both are very dark and twisted, but the all round acting and story in Prisoners does it for me. In Mystic River it is just really Penn, and maybe Robbins, who acted really, really well.

Moto is indeed a Yank such as myself. He probably did advance screening or something. They have that in certain parts of the country. Definitely not in Michigan though, where I live.

Seriously though wtf is wrong with 2014, all those movies coming out (some of them 2013, but in Denmark 2014).
Anchorman 2, Her, American Hustle, Inside Llewin Davis, Captain America 2, Days of future past, 12 years a slave, TWoWS, Planet of The Apes, Dallas Buyers Club, Nebraska, Out of the furnace, Lone survivor, Spiderman 2, Guardians of the galaxy and Interstellar.

I'm am going to spend so much money at the cinemas Laughing
