i have always liked how song plays, though i dont see how he will fit into the barca system.. i suppose he could go along the lines of masch and play as a ball playing type CB. i think he would be an upgrade to masch in that respect but in the big picture it doesnt really seem worth it.
why not just sign someone more suited to the CB position instead of fitting players like masch and song into the spot.

when ever wenger says anything along the lines of "no bid has been made" or "there are not talks" i have to chuckle a bit because thats typically when the transfer goes through a couple days later.
but as far as midfield goes they do have a lot of quality but song brings a different dimension than diaby, arteta, cazorla, ramsey, or ox could bring so losing him would be a massive loss i think.
