Great signing, and might be the one that benefits us most moving forward. Already a pretty good player with tremendous upside.

Should be a good piece of business (although I thought that of Aspas, too), great that we dipped into the German market.

Excited to see what Can can do for us!

We're most likely going to have #11, #9, and #7 vacant as Assaidi, Aspas, and Suarez are sold.

Lambert will most likely take #9 (I hope he doesn't). 7 is obviously for the marquee signing.

Sturridge might change to no. 9 possibly as well

Yeah...Can held onto the ball way too long there. Sterling kept trying to hold his position but that was very offside. The grass is diagonal, just look from the touchline it's so clearly offside by a wide margin.

Can is good, and has played well in pre-season but he isn't really similar to Henderson IMO. Hendo has more creativity and better offensive instincts with his runs and if he could get his composure together has an incredible shot as well and his long passes...his passing in general is on another level to Can. Can meanwhile is very industrial and physically imposing while preferring to run with the ball compared to Henderson preferring to make passes. They complement eachother very well though in midfield.
